get 20 on every future hand of BJ (and never get banned by any casino)

or

be able to fly

Part of the thrill of gambling is the possibility of losing money. (Yes, 21's will beat you now and again, but you'd never lose an entire session). There was a Twilight Zone episode about that.

Blackjack wouldn't be gambling anymore, just a trip to the bank. Just picture the look on that miserable dealer's face as they pay you out over and over.

Found it.

I would encourage you to watch the whole thing, but if you only care about the gambling part, skip to the 13:00 mark.

I'd be splitting 10s by the second shoe out of sheer boredom.
I love when someone does that and the dealer announces to the pit boss that someone is splitting tens, ostensibly to alert the pit boss to a card counter, but really to announce to the table that we've got an idiot on board.

I love it. Thank you for that 15 and 16, sir.

The correct answer is fly... Think about all of the factors here on blackjack:

$20 per hand - how many hands do you play in an hour? Empty casino 50- 60, crowded 20-30. Lets say your take home is 40 hands an hour, that comes to $1.6MM a year at 8 hours a day for 52 weeks. Lets also say eventually sitting at this ####### table endlessly doing the exact same thing forever will drive you nuts.

I don't think that's enough opportunity to pass up flying.

Hmm, unlimited supply of money or be able to fly. I will take the cash.

I mean, you DO have to "work" for it. But really shouldnt take too long to stockpile enough cash for a lifetime.

 at $20 per hand. I got slaughtered in Vegas a week ago and I was wagering $250 / hand. If I were winning, the skies the limit!

I'm ready for bed... I read it as every hand is worth $20...

I still say fly

Is this super speed, no one can see you if you're going fast, flying?

I bet you could make a lot of money doing that.

What's the tax rate on gambling earnings?

I bet flying could make you a lot of money, but I also don't want the fame and attention that would bring.

I will take unknown trillionaire instead.

:goodposting:

Is this like Superman spinning the Earth flying, or am I just traveling 60-70 MPH?
Whatever the flying equivalent is of $20 / hand.
That's a non-answer. Would I be able to fly faster than a commercial jet or not?

It would still get boring flying cross-country if I could only do it at ~500 MPH.

I'm also only flying if I don't have any creepy webbing between my lats and my arms.

I'm talking bout just spreading your arms and flying here. No suits, no nothing.

You would be able to fly at speeds up to Mach 1. Fantasy Curse can only fly 50 mp/h or bet $20 / hand.

I, for one, am shocked that Chet turned this into a "Look at me" thread.

So Mach 1 is the max flight speed? Can't it be maybe slightly faster than an X-15?

If you get unlimited cash essentially don't you think being faster than the fastest jet (and tough enough to survive the Gs) would be appropriate?

I think I get the crux of the question - about having something that money can't buy. But GPJudge nailed it - the government would nab you. In the unlikely event they didn't nab you, another government would. And if that didn't happen, at the very least your life would be turned upside down with celebrity that would be so intrusive it would be miserable.

20 all day.

Um, I would love the place he goes. I personally think of the place he goes as something like out of 1984. Where they take your worst fear and make you live it forever, with all the terror it implies. Sheer, crippling terror.

But that's just me.

Either way you are a freak....

Are you going to tell me that you can consistently sit at a casino and get dealt 20's on every single hand and everybody is just going to think you

are the luckiest guy in the world??

Flying you can hide...
