Yeah, it must be. It goes into streaming mode.My wife was asking me about this.
Where is it getting the data from? The unit can't be buffering every show. Is it related to which shows are already on demand?
It's just reserving bandwidth to stream those shows. Same way PPV works.Yeah, it must be. It goes into streaming mode.My wife was asking me about this.

I've only done ondemand if I forget to record something or we lose power/signal, so it's usually a few days after. How fast are they usually available after the showing? It's just reserving bandwidth to stream those shows. Same way PPV works.Yeah, it must be. It's during the showing. So they don't reserve the bandwidth for long. Basically if you turn to the show while it's still broadcasting, even if it's in the last minute, you can stream from the beginning. Once the scheduled time of the show is over, you can't access it any longer except through the internet connected on demand featureI've only done ondemand if I forget to record something or we lose power/signal, so it's usually a few days after.
