WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (1 Viewer)

As a Lion fan this one did not look good. The plays when a 300lb lineman crashes into the legs from behind has to be players worst fears. St Brown never takes a play off or comes out so this is concerning for sure.

Woke up. Before I even got coffee or said good morning to wife or dogs I knelt down and prayed to the fantasy gods. My prayer involved solving world hunger and world peace. Also that Amon misses just one game. Amen.
You asked the fantasy gods big tasks like solving world hunger and world peace and for ASB to only miss one game? Heck, if you're gonna shoot for the moon on the first two why not shoot for the moon on the last one and ask for zero games?

Amateurs

Obligatory man injuries suck this year post. :wall: He was keeping one of my redraft teams alive after some bad schedule luck but the zero and if he misses next week its probably sunk my chances for the playoffs. Highest scoring team in the league and a negative head-to-head record :ptts:

Because I'm not greedy. World peace. World hunger. Amon 1 game seemed reasonable to me. Ha ha

Not me. I need him next week to keep my playoff hopes alive. Can we maybe give up on the world peace or world hunger thingy?

I'd settle on 2 games, back for week 15 and the start of the playoffs, and free/affordable healthcare.

First kinda real news:

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is believed to have suffered a low ankle sprain Sunday, sources say, and while he continues to be evaluated, it’s good news so far on his chances for returning sooner than later.

Detroit plays just one game in the next 16 days: Dec. 4 against Dallas

So I guess we can now get back to that world peace and world hunger stuff

Yep. First we have to give thanks for the part you and I played in this. The world may never realize how much of a factor we played in this. We both stepped up big.
So do you want to handle the world peace or the world hunger? I'll work on whatever one you don't want. Or have we done enough and let someone else step up for the other little things?

World hunger is a super easy one. Just allow hunting anywhere anytime.

And then there are no animals left... There is a reason why every State and Country has conservation plans and strategies.

Like, the library?

I'm in.

Already handled. As a Jameson owner I prayed for more targets and less hunger.

I wonder how he is going to adjust to being the #2 WR on the Lions going forward.

JAMO 4 LIFE!!!
I’ll remind you he had a zero (0) last week.
And, remind me what he had this week and the three weeks prior to last week? All this winning is clouding my memory.
No, your delusions of grandeur are clouding your memory because that was Jamo’s 2nd 0 point week. The last one was preceded by a 2 point week. He’s also sprinkled in 6.8, 6.5, and 6.2 this year.

So much winning.

18.8, 18,6, 16.6, 23.9, 19.7, 26.9

They weren’t so fun through half the season when he was being talked about as unstartable.

Bear in mind, I’m a fan. I have him on 3 dynasty rosters now. And a redraft.

But cherry picking his good starts isn’t an honest approach at player evaluation. It’s ok that you have a mancrush. Just be honest about it.

That all said, ARSB getting hurt with LaPorta already hurt certainly opens the door to more production - I just wish we’d had more consistency earlier in the year. Hopefully the Lions realize his potential and continue to use him after ARSB Is back.

And the other six are 0.0, 0.0, 2.0, 6.0, 6.3, 6.6. If you look up "boom/bust" in the dictionary, it has Jameson's picture in the margin. Love him though, those numbers are nothing to shake a stick at*. Glad to have him but glad to not have to worry about starting him. Would love to see him break out into stardom one of these years.

*I thought this meant it's pretty good, but I guess it has more of a negative meaning. Let's go with "nothing to sneeze at".

not the same as what you were doing. Cmon.
Of course it is. It's literally exactly the same.

I thought it was intentional and funny, in a good way.
