WR Antonio Brown, FA (4 Viewers)

Video I watched of him it seemed like walking was painful let alone running.

Be surprised if he's back sooner than 2 or 3 weeks.
Saw that same video last week, and thought he isn't even close to ready. He was barely putting weight on his one foot.

Its not like Arians to panic and push guys before they are ready, and they are still in 1st in the increasing easy NFC South. My gut would say he's about 20% to play this week, and no lock to play next week either, but that's 100% speculation. I think he and Gronk are on pretty similar timelines.

NHL player who did this got 21 game suspension which is about equal to 4 NFL games.  If he did this I think that’s a good starting point.

I actually checked his IG account last night for an update and it sounded like he was expecting an oncoming accusations and I guess this is it.

Other then Michael Thomas he’s my most drafted player this year so I’d obviously like this to not be true or he gets lighter suspension but bracing for the worst.

Well I guess the worst is TB cutting him but I don’t think Tom will allow it.

Yep - allegedly didn’t pay the $10k for them, so not only did he obtain fake vaccination cards, he stiffed the dude he bought them from.

ps - I just got my booster shot, and received a 2nd vaccination card absolutely free of charge! I feel like I just saved $10,000! :pickle:
Wellllll, I dunno. This doesn't sound like the Antonio Brown that I know

Wait. Yes it does

When you get vaxxed you go in to a national registry. I find it kind of hard to believe that an organization like the NFL would rely on vax cards to determine who is and isn't vaccinated.

If this is true...IF..How embarrassing for Mr. Goat and any and all involved. Sounds like AB should be short for Always Betraying.

Obviously he should get the same penalty that Rodgers got for violating the protocols. This is no different.
It is VERY different. Yet almost kinda sorta the same. Deception is after all lying. IDK...Both made really bad decisions. *

*based on IF the news on AB is true.

Agreed.  This whole story sounds like a bunch of BS.

That said, it involves AB...so we can't immediately dismiss it.  Brown has nobody to blame but himself for that.

This is true, and actually made me laugh.

Rotoworld just posted that AB's lawyer has come out and said AB is vaccinated. So, who knows?

Why does it seem my moral compass is always being used and tested during what used to be my enjoyment? I gotta say I'm on overload this FF season. The NFL has become shock jock radio and (if you threw in the writers from 2 broke girls) a mix of sadness and a fond look back at what once was.

I just texted my cousin and just asked him when Fantasy Football became such a drama show...

The money owed is a theme with MR. Brown. Many have had cash money problems with him. That part of the story SEEMS to track. Why not give the vax card a super looksee and release that finding? If it is real end of story. Why just say everyones card is good? AB has earned, like it or not, a cursory double check of almost anything he either says or is involved in. Reguardless of the Goat's stamp of approval.

Because their isn't a depository that vets vaccine cards. You could show a crumpled card with a doctor on the take and most times it pass. There were already stories coming from agents in the summer about players obtaining fake vaccination cards and it wouldn't surprise me if multiple players had them.

Although this reeks of conspiracy theory... I kinda gotta agree. while traveling abroad this year most tsa agents just looked at it from afar and let me pass.

I mentioned this earlier, but all people vaxxed go in to a national registry. It wouldn’t be difficult to check for validity.

When I drafted AB in the 6th round, one of my teammates snickered, "cue the season long drama".

He wasn't far off, but I might still do it again. He helped me win a few weeks, and potentially the season - long league week high score, which has a nice prize attached.

Do corporations have access to that registry? Sounds like that would be a Hippa violation if anyone could look up anyone else's status

Violating the protocols is violating the protocols. Both guys did it with intent. There may be more factors if AB forged documents, sure. But, they can't go heavier on him for violating the protocols than they did with Rodgers. Same crime, same time.

Apparently we’ve all greatly misjudged Antonio Brown.

mea culpa.

“Antonio Brown's lawyer told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport his client is vaccinated.

“Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine," Sean Burstyn reportedly told Rapoport. This rebuttal comes on the heels of a report from the Tampa Bay Times claiming Brown used a fake COVID-19 vaccination card to avoid NFL protocols. NFL insider Josina Anderson reports some people inside the Bucs organization question the intent of the personal chef who leaked the story, reportedly saying, "This whole thing is about getting paid. No evidence." The NFL will almost certainly look into the matter further.”

My apologies to AB. I don’t know what I was thinking, jumping to conclusions like that. :(
