Unknown WR's outperforming studs on their respective teams...

Eddie Royal would be outperformring Brandon Marshall in Denver

Kevin Walter would be outperforming Andre Johnson in Houston

Lance Moore drastically outperforming Colston

I know there have been some injury/suspension time from the studs above, but all 3 guys on the left are in the 13 best scoring WR's in my fantasy league. Very bizarre.

Those guys are doing good, but I think the only one that is really outperforming is Lance Moore, and how much of that is due to Colston's injury.

I thought it was funny looking at my fantasy roster that I am starting Mark Bradley and Lance Moore over Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes. And it really isn't even a tough decision. Like Joe says, things move pretty fast around here.

Unless you're in a TD-only league, I don't see where Walter is outperforming AJ. Walter is doing very well, but AJ is having a monster season albeit few TDs.
Well in my league, standard scoring + 0.5 PPR, Walter has scored AJ 3 weeks running. Walter is also third in the NFL in receiving TD's.

I own both of these guys in a dynasty league. But my WR1 is Braylon Edwards, so I guess I broke even.

Talk about Bizarro world...the hottest team in one of my leagues started Thigpen, LJ and Gonzo this week. Who would have thought the Chef offense would produce 3 legit offensive starters this year.

Andre Johnson leads the NFL in receptions and receiving yards, and in my ppr league (0.5) he's third in points for WR. Walter is a fantastic surprise this season and a key player in the Texans offense, but he is not outperforming AJ. AJ is the reason Walter's getting end zone opportunities.

OK, right, I agree, Walter is not "outperforming" him. The poster should have tempered that, but Walter is definitely performing extremely well and has been a top notch WR3. Wouldn't recommend that anyone start Walter over AJ in any game no matter what, for instance.

It really does depend on your scoring system.. I'm in a non-ppr & we only give 1 point per 25 yards & Walter has outscored AJ 63-56 so far this year.. either way the OP is dead on that Walter has suprised to say the least...

LJ is stinking it up this year. I own him & started him this past week. Cost me a win

Not to mention the studs who have become mortal

On the season:

TO barely top 20

Until this week, Santana > Randy

ocho cinco not even startable in many leagues

3 rookie WRs worth starting, two top 20

Last 3 weeks:

Lance Moore the #2 WR

G-men - Ginn, Gage, Gaffney top 20

Killer Bs - Breaston and Bradley outperforming Braylon

4 rookie WRs might be worth starting

Me actually contemplating benching Randy Moss for Matt Jones this past week (not to mention a guy who gets caught with cocaine not being suspended yet)

There's a team in my money league we call the waiver wire team that sadly enough is putting up serious points and he is poised to make the playoffs after doing very poorly in the first half of the season. I'm actually not liking the prospect of possibly meeting him in the first round.I can't recall all of his players, but Moore and Walter are 2 of them. I think he has Thigpen too.

Not really that much of a surprise, Many around here, me included (thanks guys) were targetting him late in drafts. I agree that he is not outperforming AJ though.

 Grabbed him in both my league drafts.

He got over 100 total yards. What exactly were you expecting?
TD heavy league, sir.
The WR's are so bizarro this year that we actually discuss RB's in a WR thread....... :goodposting:

You're talking to a Texans homer here who also pegged him as a sneaky draft pick only to lose him three picks before I was on the clock. I certainly wasn't implying that Walter's performance is the shock of the year, I was simply stating the obvious--he's outperformed even those justified expectations.

I find it difficult to complain that a player didn't score a TD in any given week. I agree that his season has stunk, but he's doing better than last year. He's a great WR :potkettle:

talk about bizarro, torry holt got dropped in a league i'm in about a month ago.

i didn't even consider picking him up.

i would've had to drop avery, ginn, or m. jones to get him. it was a no-brainer.
