WR Booker Likely Out (1 Viewer)

Shooter McGavin

Down the middle
In recent weeks, Marty Booker has started to look a bit like Marty Booker in Chicago, but it appears that he will miss this weekend's game. As a result, Chris Chambers and Wes Welker may hold some value this week. Looking at the Jets, they are decent against the pass, and their main weakness on defense is stopping the run. The thing that leads me to think that Chambers may put up some numbers is that the Jets have given up a TD to the opposing team's #1 receiver the past 4 weeks. Stats for those WRs for those 4 weeks:

Andre Johnson: 10-98-1

Donald Driver: 3-41-1

Lee Evans: 2-91-1

Travis Taylor: 6-81-1

Now, anyone who has paid attention to the season Chambers has had knows that he can't be counted on, even if the matchup looks nice, but this trend is kind of hard to ignore. Any thoughts?

I am going to start Chambers. One thing he can be counted on is to have some targets when the day is done. Its only going to take one big play to get him back on track.

I like Welker this week. Also, Hagan could be a sneaky WR3 if desperate.
:goodposting: Same thing I was thinking.NYJ vs. WR types:WR1 ranked 15WR2 ranked 22WR3 ranked 15TE ranked 8If I was gonna gamble on a MIA WR, I think I'd target Welker. Can't say I like McMike with his last 4 weeks of 4/111 and 1 TD.

WR Hagan To Start For Booker?

Jason Lieser, Palm Beach Post - [Full Article]

With WR Marty Booker listed as doubtful, rookie WR Derek Hagan will likely fill Booker's spot and WR Wes Welker would remain as the No. 3 receiver. WR Marcus Vick, who has yet to catch a pass in the NFL, would then be the fourth receiver in the game, HC Nick Saban said.
