WR D.J. Moore, CHI (1 Viewer)

DJ and the bears seem to have a nice schedule (passing matchups) for the rest of the season. DJ has really struggled for a few weeks. Is he a Buy Low or a Stay Away?
I don’t know. Not a Bears fan, but since I live in IL, too often the Bears on are tv. The way they are using DJ in this offense just seems bizarre. Way too many bubble screens and quick outs. Just no focus on getting him the ball downfield. I sold after his Panthers revenge game for Devonta Smith. Not thrilled with that value, but I just couldn’t count on him.

I got DJ as the extra man in a trade this past week. The schedule down the stretch looks nice on paper but something is really off right now with the offense. Hoping they figure it out.

Anybody else see the play where he just walked off the field during the play? Caleb was scrambling around (that doesn't narrow it down, I know) and Moore just strolls to the bench. It was the play Allen got called for PI.

I just saw that play on twitter. It is a bad look for Moore for sure. I can see his frustration but you still gotta give effort. It looked like he was half-assing it lot of the game to me.

Coaching and O-line play. Better coaching would hopefully try and minimize the 0-line issues but they don't seem to be doing anything to change up what they are doing....which obviously isn't working.

First time in my life I've seen a player sitting on his bench while a play was still going.

Seeing some weak justifications for it but it was just bad effort to me.

I saw this and saw this as he was not a fan of the offense/ OC schemes and just gave up for the game.
I declined the trade offer for him that followed the game (DJ Moore for Addison/early 2nd)

As an Odunze owner, who also just drafted Burden when he fell to pick 15, I don't think I've ever been rooting for a trade harder than this one.

0% chance DJ Moore is traded. None. At all.

Goal #1 is entirely about developing Caleb Williams. They aren't gonna trade their #1 WR (while taking a big cap hit in the process) just because they MAY have a surplus of pass catching talent. The surplus is the point. They were counting on guys like Tyler Scott and Dante Pettis as recently as 2023. The goal is to never be in that shape again.

I could MAYBE see Kmet being dealt, and even then, that's probably 2026. Barring a massive injury, I'd be shocked if Moore wasn't in 2025 and 2026.

I think he has one foot already out the door.
How so?
I know they aren’t pleased with his effort and trade rumors are out there.
I hadn’t read anything definitive but hope you’re right as another Rome owner.
IMO his attitude was not great last year and if it continues I think they make him available and the cap hit is actually pretty low if traded after June. The idea of this has been floated by a few Bears reporters but just an idea, not what anyone is predicting.

But my thinking right now is they don't want to trade him, not this year, and would prefer the change in staff changes his attitude and fwiw I've read multiple times over the years he's a really good dude, something about last year just did not suit him. Perhaps was just that down on getting rid of Fields for Caleb?

I just drafted Burden twice this weekend and good shot of adding him in another rookie draft next weekend so I'd love for him to get dealt but I'm approaching this right now as they don't want to trade him and would instead prefer he bought in with trading him as the option if he does not.
