Is there anywhere he could go that wouldn't be an overall negative for fantasy? All the likely places seem like they'll hurt others far more than they'll help him.
Maybe Chiefs or Bills would be a net positive, but it doesn't seem like they'll do it.
Jets and Saints would both be terrible all-around.
Steelers could be interesting (and I think the best overall "real football" spot of the likely teams), but that passing volume will be capped even with Fields' improvements.
Commanders could be solid for fantasy, but feels like it would be a wash fantasy wise. McLaurin finally seems he was getting his chance to shine. Daniels looks fantastic, but historically, asking a rookie QB to consistently feed 2 good fantasy WR's is tough.

I'm not sure he depresses anybody on the Jets but Lazard. Wilson will get his and Adams will work his way in. If anybody, Williams and Lazard will lose touches, but they're both limited as receivers to begin with, so unless you don't want anybody to lose touches then the Jets are a pretty good place and a frontrunner for his services. Same with the Commanders.
The Saints I get what you're saying. Olave and Shaheed would take a hit.

Could certainly see the Bills doing it, even more so now with Shakir hurt. I doubt the Raiders would trade him to the hated Chiefs though unless that was by far their best offer.

We're talking fantasy so these points are sort of irrelevant unless you'd argue that team cohesion and competence are necessary for fantasy success of two or more guys. I'd say it doesn't. And I don't agree with the substance of your argument, either.

If buffalo really going to admit dealing their number one diva wr in the offseason was a mistake already? And bringing in another diva who is 2 years older than Diggs?
This is my thought too.
Obviously there will be a team who trades for him, but I believe a few teams are thinking twice about bringing on this diva.

I also don't see Washington upsetting what they have going right now either.

BUF or PIT would be the best landing spots for Adams IMO. It has to be a team with a clear weakness at WR (or lack of a true alpha WR). Otherwise, you risk destroying any existing chemistry between QB and WR.

NYJ seem like they have a scheme issue on offense. Bringing in Adams would just be desperation moving hoping that Rogers and Adams can somehow recapture the pitch 'n' catch magic they had in GB.

I hope the reports of him being moved maybe even by tonight are correct. The Jets being 2-3 and the Saints likely being 2-3 after tonight bodes well for the pick as well.
I’d almost rather him just stay in LV than go to Pittsburgh.

Pretty Ricky tweeted out last week the Steelers offered a 4th which I almost hesitate to mention I'm not trying to get into a debate with anyone over whether or not he has credible info/sources but I'll say I'm buying this info and if I questioned it before the stuff that went down with Pickens last night made me question it no more.
Dianna Russini wrote Saturday said that Adams price tag was likely a third, similar in total comp to Diggs deal. That's also a price which suggests teams interested in him are likely looking at a one year rental, like Diggs and Allen.
Would be massively short-sighted and desperate for the Jets to trade for him. They’re going nowhere, Rodgers can’t handle/escape pressure anymore and the o’line is a sieve, he needs to hang ‘em up this offseason. The front office and coaching staff needs to go. Save the pick to use on o’line, and draft a QB with their 1st and hope you hit this time.

Buffalo's last 2 games make them look like the best fit. Its clear if they fall behind they have nobody they can rely on to make plays. I think people wanted to will Kincaid or Shakir to be that guy, but they simply aren't on that level. Adams is probably better than Diggs, as he's much more of a physical player.
The Steelers have a need, but I think they are more of a longshot than they appear. I don't see the Raiders accepting the rumored 4th rounder.
Washington would be ideal, and I don't think Adams would be a sideshow for them at all. He never was in Green Bay. McLaurin is solid, but he's not really a guy who makes clutch catches, he's more a really great #2. Similar to a Tee Higgins or a prime Tyler Lockett, they might not feel the need for to upgrade given their start, but I'd argue that's also whybthey should.
NYJ makes some sense, but it would suck for Wilson, who would be the clear #2 WR. I don't know if they'd invest that much given they signed Mike Williams for 10 million and he'd presumably be the #4 then.
NO makes a lot of sense, given the Carr connection, and Olave is likely very ok being the #2 given he was at Ohio St, and his skill set is more deep threat than anything else. Pushing Shaheed back to the #3 would also be a huge mismatch for defenses. I would think if they acquired Adams, they would become more of a pass 1st offense, which might make sense anyway, as they would be wise to scale back Kamara's workload a bit, as he's on pace to shatter his career high in touches. His high is 287, he's on pace for 412.
Dallas makes sense, and its a similar deal of I think Lamb/Adams could co-exist, as long as Dallas commits to being pass heavy. Which given their running game also makes sense.
I think Adams, Cooper, Hopkins, and MAYBE Kirk could all be moved at some point. I would think Adams is the only one that likely costs a day 2 pick, and from a logic perspective I think Washington would be more likely to target Kirk or Hopkins given their experience with Kingsbury's offense. Cooper makes sense to re-unite in Dallas, though the Adams/McCarthy connection isn't irrelevant.
If I had to put guys somewhere, I think Buffalo and NO are the best fits as far as teams looking for a true #1. I don't think the non-Adams WRs offer enough of an upgrade to go after for them. I think the other 3 all make sense as ancillary guys, to like Washington/Dallas.

The league has already moved into sphere of the smaller WRs. The big 6'4" 225lbs WR isn't the desired body anymore I don't think, but some teams have resisted. The Panthers keep trying.He’s small. Would fit well with Adams.I believe Flowers has the capability to be a true #1
One thing I will say about the Ravens being a fit, is they saw 1st hand how 2024 Davante Adams can still completely take over a game. Ravens are 4-1 right now if not for Adams, and if he were a Raven all season, likely 5-0.
I like Flowers, but I'm also of the belief he's more a #2 than #1. An Adams trade would also allow them to maybe take it a little easier on Henry/Lamar rushing hits.
ETA: That said, I haven't seen anything connecting them beyond Adams Poe tweet.
I did not think Buffalo paid that large cap hit to get rid of Diggs to turn right around and get back in bed with another old moody ball demanding WR. But maybe the events of the past week have made them want to do it.
But the salary cap is real and they absolutely are going to need the Raiders to eat most of his salary this year to make it happen, there is no cap-enomics which can clear up the space needed to bring him in and this of course impacts the compensation the Raiders would want.
Latest from that Schultz guy is that no one is offering as much as a second and I think if you want the Raiders to start paying him about $12-13M for the rest of the year then those offers need to increase.

I'm just not seeing Dallas. I don't think they can afford him under the salary cap. Jerry Jones has said the reason they didn't pursue Derrick Henry is because of the salary cap. Not sure what Henry signed for or what Adams makes but I doubt Dallas could do it.

Bill may be right, and it certainly jives with multiple stuff I've heard that no one is offering a second and those offers may not heat up unless Raiders eat some money. But I thought that was something else for him to say considering he gave up a second for Sanu.

Man, this is pretty ****ty if you roster him, especially in dynasty if you were looking to move him. He's missing games while clearly ready and you can't get a thing for him because nobody wants to give anything for him when he's not playing. Gotta hold and wait it out. Pennies-on-the-dollar doesn't even begin to describe this right now.

Yup. I only roster him in 1 dynasty league but it is definitely Win Now and I could use him with all the other injuries happening.
