Think that was true whether they acquired Adams or not.Mike Williams is toast
As for Adams, I’m good with this as a dynasty owner. Should be peppered with targets.

Nah, I believe he's got a bad hammy. . . No way that'll clear up the week he's traded.Assuming he plays this week?
That is a given.Great news for ARod and that’s about it. I’m no way it helps Wilson. He 100% will see less targets.
Didn’t he get concussed too on the last play? At least offer him COBRAMike Williams had a terrible game and I wouldn't be surprised if the jets release him
Maybe they will have the Head of Security walk him out
Well, if Wilson receives less than the 10 he got last night, Aaron is plain stupid. Their timing looked really good for the first time this season. For some reason, he didn’t target him the last couple drives. Maybe would have won the game if he had instead of throwing to useless, old Mike Williams.Great news for ARod and that’s about it. I’m no way it helps Wilson. He 100% will see less targets.
Crosby is untouchable IMO. Still a very young stud - if he was 30 I can understand it. The lions pick will be late probably.Who didn't see this coming. We all knew this would be the landing spot.
Now Detroit needs to go get Crosby!
Doesn't hurt to ask.Crosby is untouchable IMO. Still a very young stud - if he was 30 I can understand it. The lions pick will be late probably.Who didn't see this coming. We all knew this would be the landing spot.

He will get more quality targets. CB2 covering him with almost no double coverage. Think Waddle, Tee and DSmith. When it's going good, they all eat.Great news for ARod and that’s about it. I’m no way it helps Wilson. He 100% will see less targets.
Two 1st Rd picks would likely get him, 1st and a 2nd might snag him, the pick likely won't be Top 5 but you can't assume 32 eitherCrosby is untouchable IMO. While I agree in concept, ARod seems far more likely to zero in on His guy.He will get more quality targets. CB2 covering him with almost no double coverage. Think Waddle, Tee and DSmith. That would be perfect for Maxx to go back home. The lions seem more likely to pay the high price than most teams here. But the raiders really should keep their by far best player. Now Detroit needs to go get Crosby!
He’s already in the buildingAssuming he plays this week?
Yeah. Rodgers in his presser last night, seemed really pissed at MW for running the wrong route on that deep throw on their last series. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that was the trigger for the team to get the Adams deal done.Mike Williams

It will be a third.A 3rd that can become a 2nd based on Adams' performance (He's absolutely going to cook with Arod again) AND we didn't retain any money.
That's a pretty good deal for Vegas tbh.

a lower percentage of targets. it also might lead to more total team targets.Great news for ARod and that’s about it. I’m no way it helps Wilson. He 100% will see less targets.
@AdamSchefter
Trade condition update: The conditional third-round pick the Jets are trading to the Raiders for Davante Adams becomes a second if any of the following happen, per source:
- Adams must be 1st- or 2nd-team AP all pro
- On the active roster for AFC championship game or Super Bowl.
Raiders pick up NOTHING on his remaining salary, Jets pick up all of it
That was probably a small sticking point for some of the other teams, reckless speculation I know
So he's set for free agency in early January, good to knowRaiders pick up NOTHING on his remaining salary, Jets pick up all of it

Raiders take a dead cap hit; Jets take on $75M in salary although none of it is guaranteed so its really a one year deal.
No one wants to trade with themNow please send Cooper to the Chiefs

Jets can always re-do his deal, and extend him, won't affect the compensation. So he's set for free agency in early January, good to know

Only surprise of the trade to me is that Mike Williams was not involved.

Soon to be TO THE HOUSE!
and magically he hamstring is healed

@joebryant: We really need to bring back the laughing emoji. I'm sure the triggered by everything crowd will toughen up eventually. Maybe start an emoji triggering support group?

You just reminded me of Dwight Howard and Steve Nash on the cover of Sports Illustrated on their glory Lakers days. This is going to be fun in New York.
This is going to be fun in New York.

I think the Jets are better than 2-4. They have a good defense and Adams makes them better on offense. Hall is good, but they could use a better TE. The OL needs to protect Rodgers or none of this matters anyway.

I never thought it would happen but before the trade went down I admit deep down I was pulling for Mayer and/or Braelon to be included. That's fantasy football wish casting of course, but also a surplus vs need situation would have been fun to see worked out. Assuming Mayer will be ok soon.Hall is good, but they could use a better TE.
