When Davante Adams caught yet another 1 yard TD this week, I thought, “Between Rodgers and now Stafford loving to throw to Adams from the 1 yard line it feels like Adams has the most 1 yard TD receptions in NFL history.”

So I looked it up, and according to the linked article below from April 2025, Adams headed into this season with second most 1 yard TD receptions in NFL history with 11 behind only Jimmy Graham with 14.

Adams’ 1 yard TD grab yesterday is his second this season so Adams now needs just one 1 yard TD to tie Graham for the all-time record.

Davante is hard to guard in short space with his clean releases and precise route running.

I believe that 1 yard TD catch Davante Adams just grabbed ties Jimmy Graham for the all-time record for 1 yard TD catches. Davante will probably singularly own that record by season’s end with the way Stafford is playing.

What separates Davante Adams from so many WRs is his patient but sudden execution of release footwork. The slow work up to this foot-switch is so important. It gives the DB time to actually react to DA's movement.

He sinks into the switch and explodes outside. Although the speed is varied, nothing is rushed here. It's precise.
