WR DeAndre Carter, LAC (1 Viewer)

DeAndre Carter caught 3-of-4 targets for 64 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' Week 1 win over the Raiders.

With Keenan Allen going down with a hamstring injury in the second quarter, Carter was next man up in three-wide sets alongside Mike Williams and Josh Palmer. Carter tied six others for the team lead in targets but made the most of his, catching a 23-yard score immediately following Allen's injury. Carter will be worth a shot on one-game DFS slates Thursday night against the Chiefs if Allen is forced to sit.

DeAndre Carter caught 3-of-3 targets for 55 yards in the Chargers' Week 2 loss to the Chiefs.

With Keenan Allen (hamstring) sidelined, Carter once again operated as the Chargers' clear No. 3 wideout. He was out-targeted 8-3 by Josh Palmer, but he out-gained his sophomore teammate 55-30. Palmer found the end zone after Carter set him up with a heroic 35-yard catch over the middle of the field. Carter has come up big for the Chargers in a pinch the past two weeks, but there remains nothing to indicate he is going to become a re-draft consideration in 12-team leagues.

ESPN's Lindsey Thiry reports DeAndre Carter (illness) is expected to be available in Week 9 against the Falcons.

The Chargers are going to be without Mike Williams and Keenan Allen this week. Even if Carter hasn't fully recovered from his illness, the team may be forced to play him on a majority of the snaps. Carter saw seven targets in Week 7 and is in line for another strong workload versus Atlanta. He ranks as a WR4 this week.

DeAndre Carter caught all four targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 10 loss to the 49ers.

Carter capped off the opening possession with a 32-yard touchdown reception against soft zone coverage, which proved to be the only trip to the end zone for Los Angeles against the stingy 49ers secondary. The Chargers entered half up 16-10 but were blanked in the second half, running only 19 total plays after the intermission. Carter's run of starter reps should continue for as long as Keenan Allen remains out of the lineup, which is anyone's guess at this point considering his history of soft-tissue injuries.
