Speaking Thursday, Jets offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said the team could consider giving Elijah Moore more snaps from the slot.
LaFleur said moving Moore to the slot would result in the team playing rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson more on the outside. Wilson has lined up in the slot on 53.7 percent of his snaps per Pro Football Focus, while Moore has seen just 25 percent of his snaps come from the slot. Whether or not this leads to more targets for Moore is to be determined, but the
Jets have offered some of the fewest slot targets of any team in the league since Zach Wilson returned in Week 4.
