Packers :: WR
WR Ferguson Loves New Offense
CBS Sportsline - [Full Article]
Green Bay Packers current # 2 wide receiver Robert Ferguson called the team's new offense "heaven sent" and has worked hard to be a factor on the field this season. "He's a very physical football player," new head coach Mike McCarthy said. "I think he's done an excellent job in the weight-training area. I think he's playing with strength and confidence and I think he's ready to take the next step up. Just a lot of positive things throughout the spring from Robert."
My take: I have never been a Ferguson fan and there is certainly a real chance that this is a 100% fluff blurb.
However there is obviously a real chance that the #2 receiver in Green Bay could have value this season in fantasy football and Ferguson's talent has never been called into question.
He has frequently frustrated QB Brett Favre over the years but he is still young enough to have learned from his mistakes and he is a player to keep an eye on during training camp.
