Garrett Wilson is reportedly thought to have “Justin Jefferson-like” ability according to one NFL coordinator.Wilson was recently named an “honorable mention” to the NFL’s Top-10 WR’s by executives, scouts, and coaches in a survey done by ESPN.Wilson was reportedly thought to be in the same “tier” with names like Jaylen Waddle, Mike Evans, and Deebo Samuel.Dan Orlovsky (former NFL QB) said he believes Wilson is “on the verge” of being a 1,500 yard WR.Just THREE WR’s went over 1,500 yards last season

Will Rodgers remember when the season starts?
I am similarly high on Wilson.I have a crush on this cat. I put in over half my FAAB last year to snag him but then regretfully dropped him when that turd Milf Wilson was the QB.
I'm targeting Wilson as my 2nd round pick (16 overall in a 12 team). Is this too risky? Especially if guys like AJB or Lamb are still there? I just think this kid is going to breakout w/Rodgers in town. I also like targeting younger players before there breakout rather than established older injury riddled vets (D-Hop, Keenan, etc).
Alex Caruso @AlexCaruso
Garrett Wilson was on pace for the WR40 in games with Zach Wilson last year
But was a Top 8 Fantasy WR in games with Mike White and Joe Flacco
He has also been dominating training camp with Aaron Rodgers at QB
And has a real chance to finish as a Top 5 WR this season
A few facts are different but for the most part that could double as an Elijah Moore tweet.Alex Caruso @AlexCaruso

So his prediction, unless I'm missing something, is: "these 2 bouta act up this year

Anyone that can be offensive rookie of the year catching passes from Zach Wilson, Joe Flacco and Mike White is pretty good. Even if Rodgers is in decline - and I think he’ll be back in form - it’s a serious upgrade from 2022.I am about sold

Jets HC Robert Saleh told reporters he expects WR Garrett Wilson (ankle) to return to practice Tuesday.
Wilson has missed about a week with a “tweaked ankle” suffered at the start of camp but is expected to return in short order. Saleh previously relayed that he expected Wilson back for Saturday’s session, which came and went without a return to the field. The second-year wide receiver is in line to lead a pass-catching corps now on the receiving end of passes from future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, a situation that has vaulted Wilson’s draft stock near the first round in early drafts.
Garrett Wilson (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Wilson returned to practice Tuesday but will remain limited as the Jets head into their second preseason game. The team will surely be cautious with their No. 1 wideout, who last year earned Offensive Rookie of The Year honors on the strength of 83 catches, 1,103 yards, and four touchdowns. Unless his ankle issue lingers into late August, Garrett should be a second round pick in 12-team fantasy formats.
ESPN’s Rich Cimini said Garrett Wilson (ankle) returned to practice and “did more than expected” by participating in 11-on-11 drills.
Wilson was limited at Jets camp when he returned on Wednesday but ramped things up the next day. The second-year receiver suffered a low-ankle sprain early in camp and had been sidelined for the past week. Cimini also said Wilson “seemed to have no problem cutting on the grass field,” which is another encouraging sign that he’s nearing a full recovery. Wilson is primed for a second-year breakout with Aaron Rodgers now on the team. His low-end WR1 upside makes him a great pick in the second round of PPR drafts.
13 targets, 10 rec, 161 yds, 1 TD. I get my 37.1 points to tie my game, which I would win due to bench points. Guaranteed by rockactionI think -- and please do not gamble on this if you're a lurker and gamble feverishly -- he's going to have a big night tonight. The Jets' other skill players are all coming back from injury and/or not up to speed and/or not that great.
Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman? If the Jets plan on winning tonight, I see twelve-fifteen targets tonight for Wilson, and I know how many that is.

Garrett Wilson caught all five targets for 34 yards and one touchdown in the Jets’ Week 1 win over the Bills.
Wilson and the Jets faced an uphill battle after quarterback Aaron Rodgers was lost for the night after just four offensive plays. He was relatively quiet until making a ridiculous touchdown catch with just under five minutes remaining where he batted the ball away from the defender and corralled it from his back in the end zone. Wilson will have a week of practice to re-establish a connection with backup quarterback Zach Wilson considering the injury to Rodgers.
That’s the sound of the hype train falling off the bridge
Agreed. He was gonna be really good this year. But the floor feels like zero now unfortunately. That’s the sound of the hype train falling off the bridge
It was deserved hype, though. There's something different between a guy that can't play and a guy that doesn't have a QB.
But the floor feels like zero now unfortunately.

Like absolute zero.
Personally, probably round 5 or so. Diontae Johnson/Mike Williams territory.Out of curiosity, what round would you have drafted G Wilson if you knew Z Wilson would be the QB? He was an early 2nd in most leagues.
I have to believe they will make a move for a veteran QB here.

I went from thinking Wilson had top 5 FF wr value to not wanting to start him. We've been here before, last year. We know how it ends.
They have to say that right now. We’ll see if they are able to add someone.I have to believe they will make a move for a veteran QB here.
They say they're sticking with Wilson and that he gives them the best chance to win.

That's what I say to that.

He's not good. Anything else is just positive thinking.Wilson made some good throws too last night. He's still young, he still has a canon, he just needs to improve between the ears. I think its possible he has improved, but he's obviously a long ways from being A Rod.
He hit wide open motionless guys 5-10 yards downfield. That's an improvementI saw nothing from Zach last night that showed me he’s improved, so I’d be actively trying to move Garrett. Even his amazing TD catch should have been an INT if Garrett wasn’t so friggin good.
