I really don't recall anyone say that about Baker. He was largely considered a raw player with big upside. But yeah, Polk was said to be an extremely safe pick. Not sure anyone called Polk a steal, but they were buying that he'd be productive right away.

Either way, NE is going to regret trading back the pick for McConkey to take those 2 wrs for a while.
