How much of what ESPN and NFLN are reporting is just parroting Schaffer's original report? I'm not saying he's wrong, I'm just questioning if either network put any research into their reporting.

Sort of similar to when somebody like a Drudge "breaks" a story and CNN runs with it without doing any research.

How long do you think it will be before Gordon is out of the league because he can't quit smoking weed? Perhaps before that happens they will legalize it, or minimize the punishment for weed since so many states are legalizing it.

I've done 2 redraft leagues and saw him get drafted in round 7 and round 8.

and it wasnt autodrafted either.. both owners think hes going to get a reduced suspension.

The only way I was even remotely thinking of taking him in re draft leagues now was in round 14 or later in a 16 round league.

Eh, I wouldn't say happy about the outcome as much as I would say happy that the long, overly drawn out process is nearly over, and I will shortly be able to stop reading the posts of those still in Stage 1 of the Kubler-Ross model.

As to why it isn't done by now, I think it's the agents job to exhaust all avenues even when your client is a complete knucklehead.

There's various arguments they could be making in an appeal process, such as "improper chain of custody" for example.
