WR Kayshon Boutte, NE (1 Viewer)

Taking my L here. Yikes.

Yet here he is still getting the most snaps each week so far and they're playing Buffalo where I assume they will have to throw a lot. I'm desperate in a couple spots. IDK seems like this could be a bounce back game.
I feel the same. I do wonder if his shoulder lingered after he hurt it week one. Tough to throw him in at this point, but there are worse dart throws.
Diggs is looking alright and the revenge narrative v Buffalo might be a thing this week but yeah. Also just noticing that last week Maye only dropped back 18 times because they curb stomped Carolina and ran the ball 29 times (including 3 kneel downs).

Raise your hand if you think they'll do that to Buffalo this week.

Big swing and a miss in dynasty. Dropped him for Mason Taylor earlier this week, also opting to keep Coker as my WR stash.

The thing is, he has some decent matchups in the next handful of weeks, so I'm fully expecting a spike game or two, but zero chance I'll be buying back into this. Got into the hopeium and it cost me a good chunk of FAAB. Oh well.

This is a good call. He's a nice sleeper for a big game on a smartly placed bet for 100 yards and a TD parlay.

This guy is the definition of points chasing in fantasy. Get ready for three weeks of 3 points each. Good player but Diggs is the alpha and the rest of the WR/TE are spin the wheel.

Mike Vrabel on #Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte:

“He’s just gotten better… Sometimes the ball finds him and he makes the plays and then when it doesn’t he understands that it just wasn’t his snap. He won the game for us on 3rd-down... You see the confidence that Drake has with him.”

#Patriots QB Drake Maye on WR Kayshon Boutte:

“He continues to do the right stuff. He takes coaching and asks me questions. He’s one of the first guys that’s gonna be honest with me if what I’m saying doesn’t make sense. He’s great at giving me feedback.”

All 5 of Kayshon Boutte's targets went for 1st downs:

- 3rd & 9 catch-and-run
- Contested deep TD to the backside of a fake screen
- Two grabs during 2 min, including a deep TD where he won leverage before attacking the ball
- Boxed out CB, stayed in bounds on back shoulder

Pete Collins
Kayshon Boutte caught all 5 of his targets for 93 yards (+50 YACOE) and 2 TDs in Week 6. Three of those grabs came on downfield looks (10+ air yards). He’s now averaging 15.9 air yards per target, which is the 4th-highest in the NFL. 🚀

Matt Waldman
Kayshon Boutte is ideally a slot-flanker picked by a team that has had trouble drafting non-slots.

He’s playing what might be his worst role (X) and still playing well.

The guy can definitely make plays, but to be a true #1 he needs to be a lot more consistent in his production and his QB to lock into him more. Not sure that is going to be the case, as Maye is playing at such a high level to just take what the defense is giving him and spreading the ball around.

Most definitely, but we may also be watching him emerge, maybe. Could easily be 2-10 this week so who ever knows. I just think he's a young guy getting some consistent run and a lot of places he's free right now. It looked to me when Maye needed a play this week he was finding him and he was delivering getting open and making athletic plays.

Worth dropping Tuten for? Tuten is such a clogger for me lol.
I would hold Tuten myself, the ceiling is just so much higher IMO. But I look at him and wonder how long I can take this, byemageddon next week, he will be a candidate for discussion

I have been dropping the likes of Horton, Slayton and Parker Washington for him

He’s like the Pats version of Jameson Williams. If you are behind big or need a high ceiling play, you can start him. Otherwise, his floor is 3 points.

Sounds like the Patriots are shopping for a WR.

May be the case, but these stories are often just conjured up for clicks.

WR22 in my two standard leagues.

Don't think he's been started a single time in either of them.
I had him for two weeks, started him both times out of desperation and got less than 5 points total to show for it. I dropped him and then he blows up again. A classic case of chasing points and never getting them. His target numbers are too low for me to make that mistake again.

Sure wish I would have started him instead of Hassan this past week, but then we got reliable information that Hassan was going to be the lead back for LAC.

Kind of the way I feel. Unless he starts getting 6-8+ targets a game, which I don't see in this Maye-led offense, it's probably going to continue to be a few spike games surrounding by a lot of low floor games.

Kayshon Boutte the last 3 weeks:

🔹 223 yards
🔹 4 touchdowns
🔹 18.7 PPR points per game

Kayshon Boutte last three games ...

5-93-2
2-55-1
3-75-1

... on a total of 12 targets!

Ryan Clark
Kayshon Boutte is reminding people that he was a projected first round pick headed into his last season at LSU.

His target numbers are still low for my liking, but it's been a fun ride. I had to pick him up out of desperation anyway last week. Glad to be wrong.

NFL leaders in receiving TDs on passes of 20+ air yards since 2024:

🔹𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞 (7)
🔹Ja'Marr Chase (7)
🔹AJ Brown (6)
🔹Quentin Johnston (6)
🔹DK Metcalf (6)

Boutte has caught 4 of those 7 TDs through just eight weeks of the 2025 season.

(📊 @NextGenStats)
In my distance scoring league, Boutte is WR 10 (bye adjusted), WR 5, just after Chase, in total points.
