Some scrub that Stafford will target repeatedly while the team continues to ignore the playmakers and loses as they always do.Who's going to play the slot?

I presume you forgot the emoticon but will come back to say "I was kidding! Obvious sarcasm!"They were showcasing Tate to shop him around. Worked for them.
If you were relying on consistency before this week that was on you (as you know). Post trade things have obviously changed. If he disappoints now maybe he isn't who we hoped he was.Killing me.
He is definitely who I think he is, his talent has been undeniable to me. Opportunity hasn't been there with two vultures circling (Tate and Jones). Made him more opportunistic and variable in his production. If you were relying on consistency before this week that was on you (as you know). Post trade things have obviously changed. Here's my take. Lions rushed so effectively last week in Miami that his 2 targets were probably more or less just a casualty of game flow. Somewhat understandable. This week, it seemed the Lions truly game planned Marvin Jones into the mix more because of a particular match up. Throw in the fact that the Lions only had 3 total drives in the first half due to Seattle ball control and 3 drives in the second half ended in turnover or the half. They only had 9 drives in the game and 4 were in the 4th quarter.
However, 3 total targets to their best WR in two games is completely inexcusable. Oh and btw....he's caught all 3.![]()
I would imagine things change big time for Mr. Golladay this coming week.
Golladay is a good WR but part of the 3-headed receiving monster in Detroit. He is going to be boom or bust just like the other WRs there.
Thanks guys. They were showcasing Tate to shop him around. Worked for them.
Obviously a big uptick now for Golladay. Roberts and Riddick (and maybe Kerryon) will take some of Tate's targets, but I think Golladay and Jones will be firmly in the 5-10 targets/game range now.
Stafford is the one that isn't who people think he is. He sucks. Golladay will go up and get the pass. Stafford is too much of a coward to throw it unless you are wide open. That's why he's a massive failure. If you were relying on consistency before this week that was on you (as you know). Post trade things have obviously changed. If that's the case maybe Golladay should do a better job of getting wide open.Stafford is the one that isn't who people think he is. He sucks. Golladay will go up and get the pass. Stafford is too much of a coward to throw it unless you are wide open. That's why he's a massive failure.
It's the NFL, rarely are you wide open and especially down field where you pick up chunks of yards. Stafford is perfectly content to throw to the open guy and walk off the field 3 yards short of the 1st down.If that's the case maybe Golladay should do a better job of getting wide open.
lol this is a joke right? He's arguably the most gunslinger force the ball QB's in the league.lod001 said:Stafford is the one that isn't who people think he is. He sucks. He's also coming off the three best years of his career and is building on that with maybe his best season. He's averaging 7.9 y/a and completing 67% of his passes.lol this is a joke right? He's arguably the most gunslinger force the ball QB's in the league.
Yeah, he was. Not is. Golladay has morphed into Calvin Johnson. Max of 1 target in the 1st half. He quit forcing it to Calvin. Then Stanton would come in on a Stafford injury and chuck it up and let Calvin make the play. He did force it to a hack last week but the hack was a defender. it was right to him. He blows as a QB.lol this is a joke right? He's arguably the most gunslinger force the ball QB's in the league.
From what I have heard Rhodes is active and will play.Becoming more likely that Minn CB Xavier Rhodes sits out this week again. I’m starting Golladay either way but the matchup is brutal so this wouldn’t hurt at all.

Gunslinger not. The bum took 10 sacks, all on him, because he's afraid to throw to anyone that is not wide open.lol this is a joke right? He's arguably the most gunslinger force the ball QB's in the league.
You're not even pretending to be objective. It is impossible to take your Stafford comments seriously when this is the level of analysis you offer.Gunslinger not. The bum took 10 sacks, all on him, because he's afraid to throw to anyone that is not wide open.
He's just a horrible QB. There's nothing about him that is a positive. For a decade now this team cannot put up points and beat teams. Almost every game they are trailing in the 4th Q because he's inept. Everything has changed on the team except him and the results are the same. He simply stinks as an NFL QB.You're not even pretending to be objective. It is impossible to take your Stafford comments seriously when this is the level of analysis you offer.
I BELIEVE I'm starting A Jones insteadWho is running with Kenny this weekend?
Three issues I'm battling with:
1) Given the Lions O line has been a turnstyle recently (last 3 weeks they've been the third highest sack-allowed team), and Mack may be back, this could be a rough passing day for Stafford if he constantly faces pocket pressure all day
2) Not sure who Amukamura covers, but he still has a lot of juice in his tank, and can really be a difference maker against a WR who may struggle in press coverage. Who will Prince cover, and if it's Golladay, how does he fare in against MvM versus zone? Is Kyle Fuller a guy we also need to worry about on D?
3) The continued trend of target rate drop for Golladay. Yes, I get he almost had a TD last game, but it doesn't change the fact that he is clearly being targeted way less after the bye (2.3 tg/gm in last 3 games vs 6.6 tg/gm in the 3 games prior to the bye and 8.2 tg/gm across all games before the bye). That simply isn't good, and I don't see obvious reasons why the drop happened, or why that would suddenly change now from current trend.
Thoughts?
I hate this as I actually think Cooper has a better opportunity this week against a generally soft PHI secondary, though I don't know how to compare PHI corners to the Bears' corners.I'm starting Golladay since Diggs is on a bye. Next week, it will be Golladay vs Cooper for my third WR. Hoping this week helps with that decision.
Most of my decision next week is going to be based on targets this week.I hate this as I actually think Cooper has a better opportunity this week against a generally soft PHI secondary, though I don't know how to compare PHI corners to the Bears' corners.
That said, I don't trust Cooper at all, but it's not like I am going to risk putting Baldwin out there with his gimpy knees and ailing groin.
Don't know if I can trust any of these guys so it will come to risk mitigation. Have no idea how to think through this with this mediocre WE corps.
You guys are really scaring me. Maybe I should replace Golladay with Cohen at my flex spot. What happened to this guy? Just a month ago he was the next elite WR for the Lions.Thinking of benching him for Tyler Lockett at WR2 and the Jets D at flex.
My thinking is that you can completely correlate the Lion's offensive woes being tied to his lack of involvement. This guy is a difference maker and I do subscribe to the idea that the cream will always rise to the top if given the chance. I have some faith that the coaching staff will see the error in their (or Stafford's) ways and start force feeding him the ball. These target totals are absolutely ridiculous (4, 9, BYE, 2, 1, 4) for a team that throws the ball as much as they do.Thinking of benching him for Tyler Lockett at WR2 and the Jets D at flex.
Bears fan here... Golladay should be lining up mostly with Kyle Fuller. Fuller has been good but he is beatable and is prone to a big play, he is also vastly out-sized by Golladay. However, Bears are getting fully healthy, Mack is back and the defensive line should be just as worrisome as the Vikings (and we saw how that went last week). Stafford needs a safe outlet like Riddick or Tate back because he might be running around again. The TJ Lang injury hurts too.Who is running with Kenny this weekend?

If you had what looked to be a better performer, understandable. If it was close to a toss up, I couldn't do it and didn't do it.First time I benched him this season. Fantasy Football is dumb
