Patriots signed WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey, formerly of the Saints, to a one-year contract.
Humphrey had only appeared in eight games prior to the 2021 season. An uptick in injuries to the Saints' receiving room thrust him into a larger role. He was active for 10 games, four of which were starts, and caught 13 passes for 249 yards and two scores. Humphrey proved to be a capable deep threat and WR4. Though he isn't guaranteed a roster spot in New England, his successful 2021 campaign plus a good training camp could earn him a seat on the team's final 53-man squad.
