ESPN's Mike Triplett reports that Saints WR Michel Thomas "looked fluid and had no noticeable braces or wrapping around the left ankle" at training camp.
Triplett notes that Thomas "participated in every portion of practice except for full-team drills." So while Thomas' ankle rehabilitation is still ongoing to a degree, the 29-year-old is beginning to look like a strong bet to be healthy for Week 1. Thomas last played football in 2020, a season that he struggled through after spraining his left ankle. The injury necessitated surgery in 2021, causing Thomas to miss the entire season. Thomas won't be the player he was at his peak in 2018, but he looks like a bargain in current drafts.
