WR Mike Williams, NYJ (2 Viewers)

Mike Williams (ankle) practiced on Friday.

Williams has practiced three times this week, pointing to a likely return on Sunday. The lengthy field-stretcher has been out since Week 7 with a high-ankle sprain. Since he went down, the Chargers have shown no ability to beat teams deep. With Williams and Keenan Allen on track to play, LA's offense could be functional for the first time in weeks.

Due to short benches and Murray being a GTD on Monday night, looks like im risking Mike so I can axe a lesser WR for QB coverage.

Pray. For. Mojo.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mike Williams (ankle, questionable) "expects" to play against the Chiefs.

We would hope so after Williams got in a full session in Friday's practice. If you are full on Friday, you almost always play on Sunday. The only hitch for fantasy managers is that it is the Sunday evening contest. If Williams doesn't look right in pre-game warmups, it will be hard to pivot. We would feel comfortable getting Williams in our Sunday morning lineups, however.

Im lucky , I have Rondale Moore waiting in the wings

Really big body and lower body injuries are never a good match. Not sure what’s next for him but with the chargers season circling down the drain who knows if he returns

Chargers coach Brandon Staley said Mike Williams aggravated his high-ankle sprain but that it's not considered significant.

In other news: water remains wet. Staley confirmed the obvious on Monday by confirming the aggravated injury and added that the team will know more about Williams' availability in the coming days. Williams returned from a high-ankle sprain in Week 11 only to land awkwardly on it in the first quarter and be ruled out for the remainder of the game. It's great that Williams' injury isn't considered significant, but an aggravation of a high-ankle sprain isn't exactly good news, either. We'll have a better read on Williams' Week 12 status on Wednesday when the team releases its first injury report. For now, fantasy managers would be wise to consider other options, especially with three games set to be played on Thursday.

Brandon Staley said Mike Williams (ankle) is expected to be a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

Williams returned from his high-ankle sprain in Week 11 only to play six snaps before re-aggravating the injury. Staley said the issue isn't considered significant, but it's clear Williams is still laboring through his ankle injury. A limited practice to start the week is a good sign that he will play on Sunday. If he does, it's safe to assume his role will be scaled back. Fantasy managers should be watching LA's practice report throughout the week.

potato chip mike williams is the chris 'chandelier chandler. williams is on a bad team bad franchise that cornered the market and patented the 'snatch defeat from the jaws of victory' formula. ill never root for this team ever again havent for some time now dont care about the qb hes as hot n cold as they come a qb who always always always throws a pick at the wrong time he makes danny dimes look like joe cool montana. you want some justin sherbet? oh, hale no

Mike Williams (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

Williams missed practice on Wednesday as well. After reinjuring his ankle against the Chiefs, Williams' status against the Cardinals looks very much up in the air. He'll need to get in at least a limited practice on Friday to have a good chance of suiting up. If Williams misses, Josh Palmer will likely be used as the Chargers' primary deep threat.

Mike Williams (ankle) will not play in Week 12 against the Cardinals.

Williams did not practice at all this week because of the ankle issue. He originally suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 7. Williams returned to action last week but made it through six snaps before re-aggravating the issue. Chargers coach Brandon Staley did not consider the issue significant earlier in the week, so Williams may only miss Week 12 because of it. He will look to retake the field in Week 13 against the Raiders.

Shocker !!!!!

Mike Williams (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

He's working on a side field with trainers, so he appears to be making a bit of progress, but it would be surprising if he was anything more than a desperation questionable for Week 13. Williams has not officially practiced since re-aggravating his high ankle sprain in Week 11.

Mike Williams (ankle) was not seen at practice on Friday.

Williams didn't play last week and has yet to appear at practice this week. It's safe to rule him out a few hours before the Chargers drop their final injury report of the week. Josh Palmer will once again act as the team's primary deep threat. Palmer has posted a 13/162/2 receiving line over the past two weeks and will be a low-end WR3 for his Week 13 matchup with the Raiders.

Mike Williams (ankle) will not play in Los Angeles' Week 13 game against the Raiders.

He did not practice all week, does not look any closer to coming back this season, and has made only scant traces of progress towards actually practicing. Williams is likely questionable for Week 14 already. Josh Palmer will be a usable WR3 in Williams' absence.

Mike Williams (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Williams attempted to return from his ankle injury in Week 11, only to exit after re-aggravating the injury a few plays into the game. This is his first appearance at practice since then. Opening with a limited session is a positive sign, but the Chargers will be extremely cautious with his second attempt at returning from the high-ankle sprain. If he suits up, Williams will be a fantasy WR2 versus the Panthers.

I'd give it a 30% chance he plays.

Sucks it's a SNF game. Hopefully they'll make the call before the Sunday games kick off. I have Palmer in the lineup for now, but will switch to Gabe Davis if it looks like Williams is going to pay.

I have a hard time believing they'll rush him back out there after the last fiasco.

I just want him to get a few targets this week and look healthy so that he can be trusted in the playoffs.
Those two things might be mutually exclusive. If he gets targets & re-injures himself, he can’t be trusted.

If I were a MW shareholder I’d be hoping they keep him out another week.

Mike Williams (ankle) was upgraded to "full" for Thursday's practice.

It means Williams is going to make another go at returning after his false start in Week 11. It's not a moment too soon for the Chargers, who find their season on the brink ahead of a potential shootout with the Dolphins. Despite his enormous re-injury risk, Williams will immediately slot back into the WR2ish ranks, perhaps finding himself on the WR2/3 borderline as fantasy managers try to assess how much run he might see vs. Miami. It helps that six teams are on bye for the final week of the fantasy regular season.

:deadhorse:

Giddy up...

Luckily in the only league I have him I also have Palmer, so easy decisions. Just hoping he's truly good to go this time and doesn't exit in the first quarter again. Desperately need a win in this league.

Starting him

I'm a big underdog in a 2 (10-3) v 3 (9-4) matchup - winner gets the bye, I'm behind on the total points tiebreaker

IOW I'm looking more for ceiling than floor

Big Mike's floor is pretty low even when he is healthy (WR102, WR57, WR71, WR88)

His ceiling is WR1 which he was 4 times in the first 7 weeks (WR8, WR11, WR9, WR7)

that was a long time ago.....

Mike Williams (ankle) was removed from the Week 14 injury report and will paly against the Dolphins.

Williams played a handful of snaps in Week 11 but has otherwise been sidelined since Week 7 because of the never-ending ankle injury. After getting in three full practices this week, it looks like Williams will play without any limitations this week. He returns for an exciting matchup with the Dolphins that features a 52.5-point total. Williams is a high-upside WR2 for Week 14.

nice to see heading into the playoffs

of course Mike can never string together four good games in a row (including today)

now it's just a question of which week are you gonna post a 4 point stinker lol
