WR San. Moss A Game-Time Decision

Jason La Canfora, Washington Post - [Full Article]

A final decision on whether WR Santana Moss can play will be determined in warm-ups just prior to kickoff in Philadelphia. Moss, although he was upgraded on the injury report, will be given fitness test during warmups before the game. Moss said he feels he can play, but is not sure if he is ready for his regular role as the No. 1 receiver. HC Joe Gibbs was surprised by the speed of his recovery, but will not allow Moss to play unless he is fully healed. "We want him at full speed," Gibbs said. If the game was yesterday, Moss said he could have played. "I'm not sure as far as doing all the things I could do," he said, "but I feel like I would have went." LINK

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports Santana Moss (hamstring) is expected to be in the lineup for the Redskins on Sunday.

Moss was upgraded to probable Friday and should play, though there's still a slight chance he'll sit if his hamstring doesn't hold up well in pre-game warmups. Check the inactives to be safe. Moss makes for a fine flex play against Philadelphia if he's on the game-day roster.

Sal is also saying that he will be used as a decoy to open up the running game for Portis.
I don't think he used the word decoy. He just said he hoped he would draw attention from Brian Dawkins. Which in turn would open up the running game.

Either way, I don't like this matchup this week. On the road. At Philly. Philly needs a win bad. Philly coming off the bye. Brunell sucks. Sore hammy, might not play the whole game.

I am benching him for either Mason or Kennison.
