Will Tyreek Hill have more TD or kids this year?
would it be too soon to start trading for rookie picks in 2045?
I think he’s already in that conversation. His efficiency is ridiculous. Not to derail the kid talk, but I think we really need to start appreciating the level of play Tyreek Hill has been on, and how he's been even better with Tua than Mahomes.
I think there is a real chance (especially if he plays a lot longer to support said kids) that Tyreek Hill might be the best post-Rice WR. Better than Owens, Moss, Fitz, any of them.
8x Pro Bowler, 5x All Pro, HOF All Decade Team, 1x SB Champ, only player with 2 1700+ yard seasons. Pro-Football Reference has through 7 seasons, the players who most comps to statistically and it's Bob Hayes, Torry Holt, TO, Calvin, James Lofton, Julio, Moss. Off the field, he's no Calvin or Julio but his play speaks for itself. One of the best of our lifetime.

That we know about….that number could climb. He's got 3 kids on the way.I thought he was finishing out this contract and then gonna retire

I don’t think he’s a one trick pony. We’ve seen plenty of guys as fast as Tyreek. I don’t think you are giving him enough credit for how strong he is, his COD, his balance.Different kind of WR.Not to derail the kid talk, but I think we really need to start appreciating the level of play Tyreek Hill has been on, and how he's been even better with Tua than Mahomes.

If you ask me do I take him over Owens, Moss or even Fitz.
Nope. Exceptional talent 100%.
But he is a one trick pony and when that trick ages….his career is over where as Owens, Fitz and Moss had long careers because they adjusted as they aged. I don’t see that for Tyreek.
Now if he somehow beats father time with his godly speed we can check back.
Also those guys played in a tougher league with defenses given more rope than todays flag football where you can’t fart on a WR or QB.
He is very strong.....but the foundation of his game is speed. He has good not great hands. He is not a master route runner.I don’t think he’s a one trick pony. Moss had nowhere near the RAC ability of Hill, and Fitz (overrated in my eyes, and someone I probably shouldn't have even included, I think he's a little bit of a compiler, closer to guys like Holt and Wayne than Moss and Owens) Owens I think is the closest one for me as far as vs Hill. If I am doing the Space Jam experiment (1 game for the survival of humanity) Hill would absolutely be on that team.He is very strong.....but the foundation of his game is speed. But he is a freak of nature and runs like a cheetah. He is a special player. But I am not going to take him over those three guys mentioned if you put a gun to my head.
I will say this.....he is arguably the best homerun hitter the NFL has ever seen. A HOF talent. Not going to take any of that away from him.
But once that speed fades his career will decline very very fast (no pun intended). Where as the other 3 guys had incredible size, route running and yeah height....to keep going. Also Moss and Fitz had great hands. Especially Fitz.....just so soft.
Tyreek has 2 more years of prime production IMO before we may start seeing some decline. But hey in this day and age with the way these guys stay in shape...I could very well be wrong.

Don't knock retirement plans, everyone's different.

I didn't but you made me lookDarrell Green could still run a 4.43 at 50
Some guys are just fast
We all know who Green was drafted right after in 1983?
Heck of a 1st round. 7 HOFers. Another 2x Pro Bowl QB. Curt Warner was a heck of back for his few prime years too- 3x Pro Bowler and twice UPA Offensive Player of the Year too. Chris Hinton was a 7x Pro Bowler at OL. Terry Kinnard made a PB and was a key defender on a Giants SB winning squad. Willie Gault had a long solid career at WR. Joey Browner was 6x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro and All 80s HOF team- feels like he probably should have got inducted. Gill Byrd another 2x Pro Bowl DB. Mosebar was a 3x Pro Bowl C. I mean I feel bad for the teams who somehow missed in this years 1st round.I didn't but you made me lookDarrell Green could still run a 4.43 at 50

Tyreek Hill was doing stem cell treatment in Antigua to regenerate cells in his body to give him proper blood flow. Says he feels great at age 30.
Hearing he did the stem cell treatment to make him more fertile.Stem cell!!!! Monster year coming!!!!

Tyreek Hill is ultimate example that 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐞 and he's also why teams will always take a shot on the elite speed trait.
As senior at D2 West Alabama, Hill 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 lead team in rushing (25 att, 237 yards, 1 TD) or receiving (27 rec, 444 yards, 3 TD).
Not exactly the dominant numbers NFL scouts expect from small-school prospects.
However, he did have 4 return TDs (2 PR and 2 KOR).
If you made the school visit that year, which I did for Seahawks, your best case for selling him in draft meetings was as immediate impact returner.
And now his peers view him as best player in NFL.
Might not be a more interesting scouting case study over past couple decades than @cheetah.

Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins reached agreement on a restructured contract worth $90 million over the next three years that includes $65 million guaranteed, per me and @Marcel_LJ.
This brings the four-year total of fully guaranteed money to $106.5 million, the most ever for any receiver. No new years were added to the deal. The deal was negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus and Jason Rosenhaus.
My guess is there is an out after two years.Sounds like maybe he will be playing 3 more years now instead of the 2 he was talking about last year when he said he would retire after 10 years in the league (which would be after 2025 season).
Have to see how the contract is laid out but before this news it had the looks he was only going to be around 2 more years on the current contract as he was slated to make something like $43 million in 2026 plus he previously said he was "10 and out".
2026 would now be his 11th year.
If he keeps playing anywhere near as good as he did in 2023 it’s hard to see him retiring even in 3 years.Sounds like maybe he will be playing 3 more years now instead of the 2 he was talking about last year when he said he would retire after 10 years in the league (which would be after 2025 season).

Hill will get $106.5 million fully guaranteed over the next four seasons, the most fully guaranteed money ever for a wide receiver.

He definitely can father 20+, he's still so young and finds new baby mamas all the timeWhat's funny is when people talk like my boy is done having kids. He ain't. He is in his prime. Get it cheetah.
Dolphins do these deals this way so they can extend the player and lower the cap number. That, or if it comes time to "blow it all up" they take all their lumps in one year and field a team the Jets can beat.Tyreek Hill Contract Details, Salary Cap Charges, Bonus Money, and Contract History | Over The Cap

Desean Jackson, a speed-first WR who wasn't nearly as good as Tyreek, played to age 36. Joey Galloway played to 39, had a 1000-yard season at 36.
What are the odds on him being named Offensive Player of the Year?
Galloway had three 1000-yard seasons, including the best season of his career (83/1287/10) from ages 34-36.Desean Jackson and Galloway did not sustain their prime production. Come on with Desean Jackson…..

Tyreek is amazing…..but he is balls the wall every play. His star burns twice as bright as 99% of the league but IMO two more seasons of this kinda of production and then the decline starts.
Also……beware fantasy owners…Tua got paid….which equals he will hurt his vagina this season and miss time.
He has completed exactly one full NFL season in his 5 year career.

Predicting that a top player will at some point stop being a top player isn't exactly helpful. The fact that Hill is small doesn't mean he's more likely to fall off. Julio Jones had 1400 yards at age 30 and never hit 800 again. Calvin Johnson peaked at 27 and quit at 31.
