To be fair, it was the turn pick... but I gave it a shot. I have never gone WR - WR before, so this went interesting.

It was a Yahoo league, I believe everyone was in the draft room for the 1st hr. It was a private league.

I think that team can do some serious damage. The turn pick definitely makes this make a lot more sense, it wouldn't look as good from the 8 hole, for example.

Thanks for this - looking into strategies from that hole, as I was 12th pick last year and never know if I will be again. A few questions: What did the other drafters do that surprised you? Would you have done something differently had another player fell to you? Lastly, what prompted you to do this - is it a pay league?

Nice team but the chances of guys like Willie Parker and LenDale White being available at #70 in most leagues seems pretty small.

oh nevermind IDP league, that changes things.

any idea off the top of your head what RBs were there instead of welker?
I wonder the same thing........
Sure... I'll post the 1st couple of rounds.Looking at it now, the draft was very, very QB heavy at 1st. 5 QBs in 2 rds.

Also, guy offered me AJ for Welker straight up during the draft... Nice.

Nice draft.......for the first time I am thinking about going Wr/Wr, I pick 15th out of 16 teams. Then round 3 and 4 I will try and grab the best available backs. Glad Im not the only one thinking about doing that this year!

While I hate to be "that guy", this is pretty useless given the way that draft went. People always bring up their mocks in these kind of "different strategy" type threads, but the mocks are in no way indicative of the way an actual draft will go.

5 QBs in the first two rounds including Derrick Anderson in the 2nd? TJ, FWP, and Lendale in rounds 4, 5, and 6 of a FOURTEEN team league? Lol, give me a break. You probably could've drafted kickers in the first two rounds of that league and still fielded a competitive team.

Again, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but let's see someone give one of these things a go in an ACTUAL league that is full of competitive owners across the board, then we'll talk.

thats the highest I have seen anderson and hass go and the lowest for addai.

Your team looks good on paper anyways...

Totally agree, this is just one sample... and it not a very valid one.But I've been seening TJ go early to mid 4th rd all yr long. FWP & White are usually 5th or 6th rounders in redraft.

Welker at #3 pick is iffy, at best..you couldn't do any better? this did leave you with some questionable RB's, thats for sure..FWP, Lendale White?

Edge (5.08) would have been my pick instead of Welker. Cotchery, Coles, Driver, Mason instead of Parker or White.

Can you imagine if you would have taken Marhsall instead of Welker ? I wish I woud have since I took Welker at 3:08
I did better, I Traded Welker for AJ before the season started... the guy said he had BYE week issues and he felt Welker was equal to AJ; wonder if he still feels the same way.

That's good too, not sure if it's better, but very good. I like Marshall alot, esp PPR
