Too many "holes" to fill and with 30 picks before my next one, I'll take a wait and see here.

11.01 WR Rod Smith

Don't expect a ton from him, but at WR66, he should have something to give us.

QB: Hasselbeck, Cutler

RB: Jackson, White, Davis

WR: Owens, Walker, V. Jackson, Jennings

TE: Crumpler

D: Balt

11.03 Chad Jackson

Injuries completely derailed his rookie season. The guys in front of him don't scare me at all, if he stays healthy.

QB: Hasselbeck, CutlerRB: Jackson, White, DavisWR: Owens, Walker, V. Jackson, JenningsTE: CrumplerD: Balt
I'm assuming you want comments:QB: Nice combo of QBs from 4th and 6th round picks. Most likely some big time wasted points here with the double up efforts. I could see both having great seasons, and those points could be a valuable starter elsewhere.RBs: This group leaves a little to be desired. Lendale will def get more work, but the hype heading into last season was unreal. This year, Henry seems to have supplanted himself into the "lean-on-me" back, but Lendale surely will get some work. Dom is a big question mark. As it stands right now, you have 1 back and an occasional TD from White. If Dom's career resurfaces, then you might have something big, but I'd be more worried about survival during Jackson's bye week. WRs: I won't draft the guy, nope, not me. Let him smart off to the new coaching regime and we might see him benched. Obviously upside thru the roof, but what's up with the hands? Getting him at WR10 is a great spot tho, so I'm not knocking the pick, just the player. Love Javon's upside more than TO's actually. 2 nice up and comers in Jax and Jennings, but Jackson is 3rd most targets at best on his own team, while Jennings really flashed early in the season. I heard he had a hard time picking up the offense. Rumors have the Pack acquiring another wideout which could hurt this pick if he doesn't dig in and learn the playbook.TE: A top te in the game along with a top D.Overall, impressive start, although the strong possibility of starting only 1 RB. What happens on Jackson's bye week? Immunity or bust right?Granted, in your shoes with the way the draft panned out, I can see why you took Cutler, but I wouldn't have put myself in that position needing a back to fall to me, unless you were really banking on Lil Leon to save the day in the next round.

TO wasn't my top option, but I couldn't let Duckboy have him and potentially end up with the top back and top WR. If that happened, the rest of us could be playing for second place. Jordan in place of TO would have been my desired play.I did bank on several backs falling and came up short each time. The problem with reaching for marginal back by 1.5 rounds is that you severely set back the rest of your team. I'm gambling that injuries, retirements, and bye weeks will leave some other lame ducks during SJax's bye week. Last year I got by with just Pitt's two QBs.Lot's of risk with this team, but I don't think you beat this group by going conservative.By the way, thanks for the comments, I found them very interesting.

QB- Delhomme,McNairRB- Westy,Willis, MB3WR- Colston,S.Moss,D.Bennett,T.WilliamsonTE- LJSmith,TroupeK-D-
This looks very much like teams I've drafted in the past. I'm very concerned about MB3 this year after having him in numerous leagues last year. Moss, Bennett, Williamson always sprinkle in plenty of not so tasty donuts. Delhomme and McNair were two of the best value picks at QB in this draft. Don't see any glaring weaknesses or issues that will result in early elimination.

QB: Hasselbeck, CutlerRB: Jackson, White, DavisWR: Owens, Walker, V. Jackson, JenningsTE: CrumplerD: Balt
QB: Great combo; I think Cutler will score several weeks for you (goes more to where I see Hass than Cutler though).RB: SJax top notch to start; both White and Davis are boom-or-bust.WR: Still  you stole Owens, he and Walker will put up some great weeks for you. VJax and/or Jennings could make this a top WR set.TE/D: Both top-10 performers. Crumpler may lose some looks depending on who (if?) Atlanta brings in at WR.OA: Great setup. Need RB2 to come through, especially during Jackson bye week. Otherwise looking pretty tough right now.

Vick, Campbell

Addai, Jordan, Dillon

Fitzgerald, Mark Clayton, R.Williams, Gaffney

Heap

First time taking a look at this team all at once. Hmmmm decent everywhere.

QB- Delhomme,McNairRB- Westy,Willis, MB3WR- Colston,S.Moss,D.Bennett,T.WilliamsonTE- LJSmith,TroupeK-D-
QB: Solid but unspectacular. Both guys I was targeting 3 picks later.RB: Good top 2 combo; I echo BnB in that I don't expect MB3 to repeat, but the new coach could decide he's RB1 for Dallas.WR: Can Colston repeat? Moss was great where chosen (think he will be borderline Top 10 with Campbell). Not buying either of Bennett/Williamson at WR3.TE: LJ will socre most weeks; not enthused with Troupe, but not enthused with much at TE at this pt in the draft.OA: Good Survivor style team - probably won't get a lot of immunities, but other than WR3 wquestion, a solid start.

QB- Delhomme,McNairRB- Westy,Willis, MB3WR- Colston,S.Moss,D.Bennett,T.WilliamsonTE- LJSmith,TroupeK-D-
QBs - Good combo, its probably the type you want in this format, although I'm a little surprised you passed on Cutler for Delhomme. I guess the "chance" of Carolina removing Jake is slim, but Cutler sure seems like a sure thing to me with a ton of upside. McNair is a great player in this format with somebody like Jake by his side. RBs - Very impressive trio. I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL to see an OPEN competition for the starting job in Dallas this year. It makes perfect sense to give him a shot at the bulk of the carries. Westy and willis are a super combo in this format and Willis past season has to be his downside. Getting him at 19 is nice. WRs - Colston will be the HOT name going into drafts this year. He's currently at WR12, and I can't see him going much higher with the names in front of him, but I'd prefer him to TO AND Driver at this point, so he's sitting at 10 on my board. Let's call Moss's past season at 28 his downside. You got him at WR20 so the upside is definitely there with a new QB, of course, the risk is a bit higher. I'm actually amazed that the people let Furrey slip so low in that offense. Am I saying I'd take Furrey over S Moss? Umm... no. Moss is a good pick there. Adding Drew Bennett with some new scenery.. say San Fran, would be VERY nice for him. I think wherever he goes, he'll have a much better year and will prove valuable in the spot you took him. TEs - Got a good one in LJ and some upside in Troupe. Very disappointing year for Ben, but why not take a chance right?Very well rounded team man, with no real weakness.

Vick, CampbellAddai, Jordan, DillonFitzgerald, Mark Clayton, R.Williams, GaffneyHeapFirst time taking a look at this team all at once. Hmmmm decent everywhere.
QB: Vick will have great weeks and nil weeks, but Campbell should mitigate that some.RB: Addai/Jordan is a great combo to start. Dillon could score some weeks.WR: Fitz is top-notch; Clayton should score most weeks for you as he seems to have taken the WR1 role in Baltimore. Reggie/Jabar could be hit-or-missTE: Heap is top 5; should get a considerable portion of the Raven pass game with Heap/Clayton both on board.OA: Excellent start here; possible QB/WR3 weakness based on boom/bust week-to-week.

QB: Culpepper, Pennington

RB: Tomlinson, Cadillac, Lynch

WR: RMoss, Driver, Chambers, BJones, RSmith

TE: DesClark

Vick, CampbellAddai, Jordan, DillonFitzgerald, Mark Clayton, R.Williams, GaffneyHeapFirst time taking a look at this team all at once. Hmmmm decent everywhere.
QBs - Yep, some great upside. Vick is continually underrated. RBs - Points, upside and age. I think Jordan's year was a one time thing. He's still a force, the O-Line just needs some MAJOR work. Dillon surprised me this year so maybe Maroney is just what the doctor ordered. I didn't see anything that makes me think Maroney takes over full time, Dillon is still a horse.WRs - Love the first two. Verdict is still out on Reggie, showed some flash, much like Jennings, then disappeared again. I think Gaffney showed the team enough that he takes over the top spot, so I really love that pick. TE - One of the best. Very solid team here fro.

QB: Culpepper, PenningtonRB: Tomlinson, Cadillac, LynchWR: RMoss, Driver, Chambers, BJones, RSmithTE: DesClark
QBs - Well, at QB18, I guess you could do worse right? I mean, he wasn't ready this year, we all know that. The question is.. will he EVER be ready? Was it injuries or something more that's been exposed? Chad is good insurance for CPep. I was wanting Chad on my team.RBs - What can you say? You may have the most dynamic trio ever assembled! I'm a HUGE Lynch fan. Or.. it could be a 1 person show and we know he can carry teams singlehandedly to the title. Caddy HAS to rebound with Simms back in the fold. Teams loaded up on him and he had nowhere to run. They got behind early and abandoned the run. Bounce back candidate for next year, and at RB20... is tasty! :o WRs - Here we go. Somethings wrong. You're putting R moss IN FRONT of Driver and Chambers. Put him in his proper place please!! What happened to Chambers this year anway??? He scares me. I mean, did he call Harrington's mom a name or what? If Cpep returns, expect Chambers to bounce back, but if its Joey, CC is in trouble! Love the Brandon Jones pick. Could be the # 1 once Drew moves on. TEs - Well, this is what happens when you wait. You get a good tight end anyway. Big year for Des, let's see if he can put another year with it. Overall: Good squad. Will be interesting to see this team unfold. The RB trio is just scary.

:coffee:

I think rzrback said he was on the road today, and would be in this evening...take 5 fella's, smoke 'em if you're so inclined

Thanks for the input TL, I really can't believe I got Colston in round3, I took MB3 as basically someone that should not be there = value. Santana Moss seems to be in an every other year type patern. I took Williamson for his upside and he was really the only true guy left with a chance to be a#1wr on his team. That minny QB situation is scary. I think my TE combo could be really good. I would like a better wr3/wr4 combo but I think I can still hit some sleepers later at WR. even though Ducky got a great one in B.Jones.My QB's are boring, I thought about Cutler, but I wanted a proven Vet first then all the younger upside guys dried up. So McNair it is.I'll comment on some of these other teams listed from home tonite, when I have more time.

11.6 Jake PlummerPm Sent
Sneaky pick. I'm glad I took Simms when I did because I was banking on grabbing Plummer if not. Nice, he's a starter somewhere... but where? Houston?
IMO he's gonna start somewhere, but we'll wait and see how that shakes out. I was calling Plummer to Houston when Rosenfels took his first snap last season. I was gonna roll the dice that he'd be there on the way back next time, but nothing was pulling at me to go another direction, so I just got it over with.

Leaving soon for Knicks/Lakers game tonight. Hey, I know the Knicks suck this year - but it's my first game of this NBA season and got the tix for free - so what the heck!

Anyway, can anyone take a PM just in case it gets back to me tonight?!

Leaving soon for Knicks/Lakers game tonight. Hey, I know the Knicks suck this year - but it's my first game of this NBA season and got the tix for free - so what the heck!

Anyway, can anyone take a PM just in case it gets back to me tonight?!
You can hit me with one; I should be around for most of the rest of the evening.
