That wasn't until well after the Wii was released and demand shot up even more. At and especially before launch, people weren't nearly as gaga over the Wii.I remember several years ago when it was nearly impossible to find a Wii. We had threads here about how scarce they were, and whenever somebody posted about some Retailer X who had some units available for sale they already sold out before anybody could snag one. This is all anecdote of course, but I don't see anything like the same level of excess demand for either of the new consoles. Maybe that will change, but with Thanksgiving right around the corner I'm not seeing it.Yes. I wish I waited until that Sunday and stood in line for the Wii instead. Who saw that coming? I certainly didn't.Yea, I think the era of flipping those is all but done unless one is clearly outselling all others like the Wii did back then.
I've yet to see a console that you couldn't make at least a little something off of within the launch window. The PS3 dropped fast but even that I made a few hundred bucks on the next day. That said, supply seems to be higher this time around as I don't remember anyone taking pre-orders as late as people have been able to get with the PS4/XB1 last time around.
If something doesn't exist now, has there been an add-in for other gaming products for the WHS?
