The couple of leagues I'm in where we draft live at Yahoo, I'm praying the other owners will be using their projections. Not to mention their ranking and projections are not the best.
I tried to check my league site a couple hours ago and got some yahoo error msgInteresting. I've done dozens of mock drafts throughout the offseason with zero issue.
Are you using the 'Classic Draft Room'? (They did update to a new version a few weeks ago that isn't the best, but I just still used their Classic version w/o issue)
Yeah, I did a ####load of drafts there with no issues, as well as a real draft yesterday and two real drafts today.Interesting. I've done dozens of mock drafts throughout the offseason with zero issue.

Check to make sure it has the draft order correct...in every roundBeen screwed up all nite but I'm in the draft room for my 10 o'clock draft
Actually, the one guy over there ranks #1 for fantasy prognosticators for the 3 year average accuracy for fantasy football drafts. Not to mention their ranking and projections are not the best.
I would like to know the recommendation of others for completely casual leagues, and their reasoning. I run two of them, one for work colleagues and the other for golfing buddies. They do this for fun, need the projections cause they don't have the time nor inclination to evaluate players. The site needs to be simple, both for them and for the commissioner. And they're not about to pay to participate. I have played on many sites and find yahoo adequate for the casual league player.I used Yahoo a few years back and their playoff bracketing was so screwed up I ended up going old school and finishingbthe league using nfl.com, paper and pencil.
Ran a hockey league on yahoo last year, it was a money league. The playoffs started and all was good. Half way through the playoff week a team who made the playoffs was unexplicably removed from the bracket and another team, who never set their line up because they didnt make the playoffs, was inserted. Long story short, I again had to go paper and pencil. Yahoo is the worst at the worst times.
Ive been having excellent luck at espn.com. all my leagues are there.
Yeah, we have a live draft and then put the teams into Yahoo...Our league usually drafts with ESPN and then imports rosters to Yahoo......has worked fine for us.
I would love to have a live draft, but that's not practical for the two leagues in my original post. It's online or nothing.Yeah, we have a live draft and then put the teams into Yahoo...Our league usually drafts with ESPN and then imports rosters to Yahoo......has worked fine for us.
Me, too. The other league drafts tonight.I actually have a yahoo draft tonight![]()
I hope they get this resolved quick.
To the best of my knowledge, only one person could not get into the draft room last night. Since he is new to the league, and a friend of a regular in the league, I'm getting vibes to hold a do-over (which Yahoo is allowing). To me, that opens up far more worms than it solves. I'd love to resolve this in an amicable way, but the conversation is not converging to a resolution. Our draft went fine, never had a problem with the site. Not my preferred choice, but that is what one of my leagues (a keeper) has been using for the last 7 years with little to no problems. I hope things get resolved for ya ...

so, you're going to draft over after everybody's shown their hand?To the best of my knowledge, only one person could not get into the draft room last night. The commish can reset the league and pick a new draft day. We are going to give it a try again tonight.Last night was the first time I've ever had an issue with Yahoo.
What are they doing to fix the issue where everybody's team is ####ed?
The offlines ones. People are writing down the names on draft boards, and then some little yahoo troll is switching names around when people aren't looking. Are the live drafts screwing up or the offline ones?
