Yahoo's Annual roster snafu. (1 Viewer)

Considering the 2 point per tackle numbers he's burying most WRs in Yahoo IDP leagues. Check your scoring and you'll see a WR with zeros across his stat line yet be about #20 in scoring for WRs (depending on the league).

Any other players that fit this bill? Like a LB/Kicker? That would be nice...

i complained to yahoo about Wilson

yahoo's reply follows:

(i bolded what i feel are the key points)

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Sports.

I appreciate your inquiry with regards to player eligibility.

His eligibility will not be changed this season. Our system does not

allow players to be eligible for offense and defense, it is one or the

other. Since he started the season as a WR in the database it can not be

removed without locking every roster that has him on their team.

Unfortunately our hands are tied, trying to correct this would cause a

much larger issue.

Players may be eligible at multiple positions during the current Yahoo!

Sports Fantasy Football season. Initial position eligibility was

determined based on past participation and information supplied by the

teams during the off-season.

Players will earn eligibility at a new position only when their primary

position has changed and the change is not expected to be a temporary

one. For example, a defensive lineman who lines up at tight end or in

the backfield during goal line situations WILL NOT earn eligibility at a

new position.

Players will not lose position eligibility when moving from one position

to another. If a TE begins to play at RB, he will be eligible for the

remainder of the season as both a TE and RB.

When a player has earned eligibility at a new position, the position

will be visible on the drop-down position menu on your team roster.

Changes will be made during the season as soon as new information is

available to us.

All players earn fantasy points for all of your league's categories.

Points coming from categories not normally associated with a player's

position (e.g., a kicker who throws a touchdown pass) are called

miscellaneous points and are indicated by a "*" to the right of a

player's point total.

Please feel free to email me again with any further comments or

questions.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Sports.

Regards,

Thanks for the heads up - not worth it in my league with 1 pt per tackle and also 1 pt per catch. Receivers have more opportunities. Now if he was listed as a DB but played WR....I'd jump in a second

Not worth it in mine either. He only has 38 points which makes him about the 20th best WR available on the WW and slightly less valuable than Nate Washington.Nice catch though
