Yard Moles (1 Viewer)

I have a mole, he's destroying my landscaping.    I've lost the battle 3 years running.

Educate me on how to effectively rid myself of this pest.

TIA

A mama mole, a papa mole, and a baby mole all live in a little mole hole.

One day the papa mole sticks his head out of the hole, sniffs the air and says,"Yum! I smell maple syrup!"

The mama mole sticks her head out of the hole, sniffs the air and says "Yum! I smell honey!"

The baby mole tries to stick his head out of the hole to sniff the air, but can't because the bigger moles are in the way so he says, "Geez, all I can smell is MOLASSES!"

Quit trying to kill all the moles, which you will never be able to do, and instead kill off their food source.

The best thing to do is get some commercial grade stuff if you have a buddy that has a fertilizer permit.  If not go to Home Depot and buy this.  Spread it out at twice the recommended dosage rate.  Wait a couple weeks and if they haven't gone completely away do it again.  Pretty soon their food source will be gone and they will all be in your neighbors yard and wont touch yours.  Once the food source is gone you only need to spread it out twice a year to keep them from coming back.

We used those stakes that you drive into the ground that send out vibrations the moles don't like.   They relocated to the neighbor's.

I used mouse traps loaded with peanut butter and put them near their holes in my backyard.  Did this for two years, catching the last little ###### last year.  Killed like 10 total.

Back yard looks nice again.  Now the little ###### are in my front yard.  It's gonna be all out war this spring.

Seriously, try this.  Best kept secret in the extermination business.   It's over in two weeks, why spend all year fighting a war you rarely win?

Yeah, poison the #### out of your yard. Awesome idea.

We stuffed up their holes with newspaper as much as possible, bought a tube at the hardware store that connects to your exhaust, and we CO'ed them for a good half hour or so. Moles gone. And no corpses that you can see or need to deal with.

Nothing else worked until that. GTFO with your vibrating sticks. And "flooding."

Dump some sulfur into the mole hole, then light it on fire with a blowtorch. If you see smoke escaping from other holes in the yard, cover them with dirt.
