Yeah, well that's just like, your opinion, maaaaaaaan. (1 Viewer)

Josh Gordon gets reinstated in late September...

...spends October reacclimating himself to the rigors of the NFL...

...and then goes on an Johnny Manziel-esque drug fueled bender in November & December; leading his owners to....

...jump out a window!!!

Brian hoyer excels in shannahams system and puts up top 12 fantasy qb numbers.  He gets signed to a long term deal and ends up winning a sb with the 9ers eventually.

I'm coming around to this one... he has a lot of potential
I agree with this… I drafted Dalton with Bradford as my back up, but I'm going Bradford against the Saints on Monday night football. Feeling pretty good about him in certain match ups. He has better weapons this year, and a smooth the receiver is Crook is with Bradford targeting him constantly underneath, I love the potential.

I certainly think he's better than he showed last year.  Durability is of course a concern.

Durability is the only concern IMO. He has a good arm, and can throw the deep ball. He was #1 in % completion and #6 in QB Rating. I can't believe I'm pimping a Viking QB, and Sam Bradford of all QBs... but I think I may jump in on t his one this year. His OL is better... better RBs... his Defense is still awesome. I think MIN could win the division this year TBH...

Kyle Juszczyk is 2nd on the 49ers in receptions and takes over as the GL back when Hyde misses some time on his way to a top 15 PPR RB finish.
I think you and I are minority on this one.  I was telling my friends that I'm hedging my bet on 49ers' RB situation far more than Patriots' and Ravens' RB situation.  Hell, I even bet that Juszczyk would out produce / out score than combined production and PPR points between Rex Burkhead and Danny Woodhead.

I take 0 prescriptions and I'm random tested. ?

And to the OP.  Great quote.  I crack up every time I read it.
Thank you - seemed fitting for the topic. I was curious how many would get the reference....I was pretty sure it'd be "all y'all", but I met someone this week who actually hadn't seen Beerfest, so I didn't want to assume Big Lebowski knowledge.

;)

I drafted Brady with Eli and Bradford as backups. 3QBs required on each team. I'm hoping to trade either Manning or Bradford later in the season when an owner is desperate. Unless of course Brady gets hurt against the Chiefs again.

Ballsy bet! I am adding him in all PPR leagues I can for free.

The guy who owned Gronk won the Championship in my league 3 years ago. But he also had Peyton, Jordy, and Jamaal Charles.
Sorry, my sarcastic font wasn't on.  Bit of an inside joke from the Gronk thread.

People will win championships with just about every single player on their roster, at every position, every year.

I've been playing since 1995 and I've never seen a team with Gronk at TE win a championship.
Jeez, cut the guy a little slack, Gronk was only 6 years old in 1995. He was barely even worth a roster spot back then, I doubt anyone had him penciled in as their starting TE.

The real question at hand.  Which current starting tight ends would 6 year old Gronk be ranked above?  6 year old Gronk likely much less injury prone, but may be questionable for 12:00 games due to Sunday morning cartoon lineup.

Gimme a 6 year old Gronk over Fleener.

James Conner leads Pitt in rushing yards after Bell shows up late to the team ( sept 1) and rushes into action too soon , and gets hurt.hammy? ankle? quad? the poster child for inability to stay healthy fails to do so AGAIN in 2017.
The Stranger: I like your style, Dude.

The Dude: Well, I dig your style too, man. Got the whole cowboy thing goin'.

The Stranger: Thankee.

May as well go on the record...

By the end of the season Ty Montgomery is not getting the lion's share of the carries in the Packer's offense.

:blackdot:

It appears I would have won this week if by some chance I didnt waste a 2nd round pick on Gronk and took a flier on Fleener.

Not that people care about my matchup, but point is studs are clearly not a thing this week and non sexy names seem to win.

Fantasy football 2017 Week 1, where studs were not even a thing.

lol - I drafted Fleener as a late TE2 to pair with Brate who was out Week 1. Worked out pretty good with Snead suspended.

I've never taken a TE in the top 8 rounds.
