Yogi's NFL Playoff Trivia Question (1 Viewer)

The Dallas Cowboys have a chance this weekend to become the only team in this year's playoffs to NOT have a single player selected to the Pro Bowl.  Here's what I want to know: Since the strike-shortened 1987 NFL season, has any team made the playoffs without a single player selected to the Pro Bowl (and NOT as an alternate)?  And if so, who is it?

I'm doing some research on Wikipedia, and the Chicago Bears made the playoffs in 1994 without having a single player selected to the Pro Bowl.  I'll keep everyone posted if I find any others.

In 2007, Jeff Garcia of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Fred Taylor of the Jacksonville Jaguars were selected to the Pro Bowl as alternates, and yes, both teams made the playoffs that year.  But I don't count alternate players.  I'm looking for playoff teams that had at least one player on the Pro Bowl rosters when they were revealed.

In 2009, Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals was selected to the Pro Bowl as an alternate and, yes, the Bengals made the playoffs that year.  But, once again, I'm not looking for playoff teams that had an alternate.  I'm looking for playoff teams that had a Pro Bowl player when the rosters were released.

I found another legitimate answer: the 2010 Seattle Seahawks won the NFC West with a 7-9 record.  And, NO, they did not have anyone selected to the Pro Bowl.

In 2016, Matt Prater of the Detroit Lions was elected to the Pro Bowl due to the fact that Matt Bryant of the Atlanta Falcons played in Super Bowl LI.

Happy New Year, Yogi.

I had the 2010 Seahawks pop immediately into my head. The year of the Beast Mode run. Two years later, and Seattle is in the SB behind Marshawn and Wilson. Hasselbeck, and then Tarvaris Jackson were their QBs prior. They had signed Matt Flynn in the 2011/12 offseason, IIRC, gave him 5 years 55 million and Wilson, a second-round pick, beat him out for the job. And thus is the very brief and encapsulated story of the 2010-2013 Seahawks, at least on offense. The Legion Of Boom and the front seven on the defense are a longer story, but just as worthy.
