Thomas Clayton, RB, SF 49ers
They drafted him in the 6th round this year out of Kansas State. He's a physical specimen at 5-10, 220, and he runs a 4.4 40. He was off to a pretty good college career two years ago when he got into some academic and legal trouble and was suspended from the team. Sure, lots of guys have good NFL size and speed, so why am I pimping this guy you ask??? Take it with a grain of salt, I went to high school with him where he set all kinds of VA records. He initially signed with Florida State, but after riding the pine his freshman year, and with the prospects of competing with Booker for PT, he transferred to KSU.
Great, you say. Well, here is the great part, you can take him in the last round of a dynasty draft, and if he gets cut by the 49ers in the preseason, then drop him. But, if he makes the team and gets noticed, he's at least got the tools to be a good NFL back, if he gets the opportunity.
