You own Maroney and Morris (1 Viewer)

1st round pick for most is getting the carries (17, 17, 19) and broke 100 this week, while a WW/handcuff pick is getting the TDs. Week 1 and 2, everyone was saying that the goalline TDs were late game, save your horse for the playoffs, but morris' TD in week 3 occurred in the 3rd quarter when maroney was still getting touches.

if you own both, how are you going to play them, especially as we now enter bye weeks and may have an open starter spot?

Well if he is your #1 IMO you have to trade a WR QB to get another RB.. If your if your 2-1 or 3-0 you can try to wait it out. I would make a move now. I would try to keep him, you wont get much anyway for him

There's no questioning Maroney's talent, but the way he's being used he is a good RB2 or a great RB3/Flex. Once again, BB has given Sammy double-digit carries. The way things look, New England will be running the ball around 25-30 times a game, with Morris getting around from 10-12 of those, including carries inside the 5. Maroney had a good day yesterday, but if he can't score against the Bills that tells me his TD's will be few & far between this year. And he still has ZERO receptions.

Maroney had chances to score inside the redzone yesterday, he got close but still didn't get in there. I think he will get his TDs with the cake schedule the Pats have... With that said, I own both and will be starting both on Monday Night Football next week against the Bengals

I think we're looking at the 2007 version of the Taylor/MJD combo from last year.

You could start both and end up with Top 10 RB results when combining their numbers for the year.

I'd like to see what happens when the Pats are actually playing a tight game in the 2nd half. It will happen eventually, my friends. Hopefully this upcoming Monday night. That should shed some more light on exactly how the season will play out for Maroney/Morris.

What do you forsee in a tight game?

Damned if I know but I'd like to believe that their best players would stay on the field in that case. Maroney's their best RB or he wouldn't be starting in the first place.

I'd love to be able to trade Maroney...but why would anyone want a guy who gets less than 20 carries a game and pulled in goalline situations?

My team blows.

Yeah...I know :bye:

Top 4 SOS difficulty this year per NFL.com, FYI...
well let's see...4 Oct 1 @ CIN 5 Oct 7 CLE 6 Oct 14 @ DAL 7 Oct 21 @ MIA 8 Oct 28 WAS 9 Nov 4 @ IND 10 bye 11 Nov 18 @ BUF 12 Nov 25 PHI 13 Dec 3 @ BAL 14 Dec 9 PIT 15 Dec 16 NYJ 16 Dec 23 MIA 17 Dec 29 @ NYG they got Miami twice, i think NFL.com probably overrated Miami's defense this year. I see at most 3 tough games, but with the receivers Pats have, no game is a tough game for the RBs
