You thought the Madden Curse was bad? (1 Viewer)

The madden curse only effects 1 player a year. I have that beat by a long shot.

Basically the curse goes as this, if a player is on any of my teams (I'm in 3 leagues) they are doomed to either become ineffective or injured for the season. I don't want to go to far back, but I'll use the last 2 seasons to cement my horrible curse.

I apologize to everyone in advance for being the downfall of your season.

2005

I draft Deuce McCallister in the first round, next game he's out with acl tear

I draft Randy Moss in the second round, we all know what kind of year he had last year

I had McNabb last year, he gets injured and plays half a season

It got a little worse in 2006

I didn't draft McNabb, but I did trade for him in week 6. He had his best weeks in the first 6 weeks, and than has been less than stellar, and of course, done for good this year. I should have expected that, because I traded for him to be a keeper next year. It's only a 2 year keeper league, so he should be good to go buy 2008.

I traded for colston in week 3, now he goes down this year.

I kept Larry Fitzgerald and drafted him in another league, he got injured and has done nothing when healthy

I have Brett Favre in one league, I'm sure his injury will turn out worse than they are saying

Laurence Maroney had a nice start to the season, looked very promising, I traded for him in week 8, i don't know how he pulled one off yesterday.

Plaxico Burress, his back is killing him from carrying my team for a couple weeks a little wile ago.

I've had Stephen Jackson since his rookie year, credit that for his inability to get into stud status.

Tatum Bell, drafted him late this year, but that couldn't stop me from hurting him

And now for the really bad news, I have LT on one of my teams. I'm really sorry. I would trade him just to save everyone's season, but the deadline was last week.

I hate to say it, but i've been a sabres fan even longer than the bills. I was even at the game where Brett Hull kicked in the winning goal in the stanley cup a few years ago. Don't worry sabre fans, i won't be attending any games this year.
