Ben, Tom, technically warner... is the new trend to have QBs that are good.. not outstanding... Manning and Vick, have proven individual performance doesn't bering the trophy..

who is the next 'young' QB to bring the trophy? Simms? Carr? Leftwhich..(his young windo is closing)

young = Less than 5 years NFL playing experience

i could be wrong, or not conveying the message well, the 3 year old daughter is hanging on me for dinner

Brady has been in the NFL 6 years and Warner 8. Neither can be considered young per your definition. Carr's just finished his 4th season, but Leftwich just finished his 3rd and his "young" window is closing? To answer your question, if its not a career-ending injury he sustained, I would say Carson Palmer. Not only is he good, bt he's got enough talent around him to carry him if he does falter in a game or two like Ben did in the SB. My second choice is eli Manning.

sorry, when they won their first respective super bowls, brady and and warner were in their first or second years on an NFL roster... and less playing time than that... yes palmer... sorry about lefty, like i said the kid was climbing all around, and i was thinking lefty came in with carr, which i know is wrong, but thoughts were fast...

the point, elway, Favre, dilfers, brad johnson, 'elder' QBs don't seem to be the ones any more...

Hass is 30Delhomme is 30

Brunell is 35

Plummer is 31

Peyton turns 30 next month

Ben, Brady and Grossman are under 30, but Brady isn't exactly young.

When 5/8 of the QBs in the divisional playoffs are 30, I wouldn't say the young guys are dominating just yet.

But yes, the elders are getting old. ;)
