Parks and Rec is one I’ve never fully watched but the clips I’ve seen have been hilarious. The office or parks & rec
Put a sexy conductor in that and I’m right there with you GB.Mrs. Eephus goes to bed earlier and earlier these days which gives me more time to watch old movies and train cab view videos.
The train videos are very relaxing for me. I enjoy the scenery passing by on both sides with the track stretching out ahead. There are videos from all over the world on YouTube. This one from Brazil is a nice example.
Yeah, I'm a nerd but that's nothing new.

We do Family Feud on a regular basis too. Or an episode of King of the Hill, or The Floor, or something else that doesn't require much thought.Ours is Family Feud.
Steve Harvey is money. Always on the game show network. Always good for at least one good lol moment each night, plus I learn how dumb people think when asked random questions.
The perfect bedtime show.

us either. Also..trains are coolNever had, nor want, a TV in the bedroom ...just posting to say that those train videos are awesome. Probably worthy of their own thread.
We don't have a TV in any bedroom other than the guest bedroom. And there is only one there because my mom can't fall asleep without the TV on so when she visits she has that.Never had, nor want, a TV in the bedroom
We didn't have one in the bedroom for 25 years until we moved. Now I like it, especially on those weekend mornings where you both just want to stay in bed a little longer since it's so comfortable. It's great for those London NFL games.Never had, nor want, a TV in the bedroom ...just posting to say that those train videos are awesome. Probably worthy of their own thread.
Couples Retreat is very underrated. It is outstanding and I will always stop and watch if I stumble upon it. Encouragement!Couples Retreat,
Last Christmas, my daughter got me an inexpensive K3 sleep sound machine for my bedroom (me and my jumpy legs sleep in a separate room from my super noise/motion-sensitive wife). I love that thing, and even bring it along when I travel. Plenty of sound options from white noise to fans to streams to forest ...yes, even a train. It's particularly helpful when I wake up during the night since it's so hard to get back to sleep when the 'silence is deafening.'I sleep with the TV on
I know it's a terrible habit but it's become almost necessary.... heck, sometimes when I'm on business trips and I'm in a hotel where their TV have auto shut-off, I will wake up in the middle of the night because the TV is off.
I watch SportsCenter. Every night.

I am going to look into one of those. The main problem, though, is that the TV on helps me FALL asleep. I don't know if my brain would be too active with the lights completely out and just white noise going. Like you, I sleep in a separate room from my domestic partner (more to it, but whatever) and she actually turns off my light (it's not very bright at all) and closes my door when she goes to bed.Last Christmas, my daughter got me an inexpensive K3 sleep sound machine for my bedroom (me and my jumpy legs sleep in a separate room from my super noise/motion-sensitive wife). My wife has the “Calm” app on her phone, and plays the sleep stories. That may help if need something in between TV and a white noise machine. They help her fall asleep (I suppose me too sometimes, but she’s usually zonked out by the time I go to bed).I am going to look into one of those. I found one on Amazon for $20 with great reviews and actually had soft glow color(s) so maybe I'll try that. Thanks!
My son's used those apps from time to time. I think for me it's the combination of the sound (I keep it real low, like I have to really concentrate to actually hear what's being said) and the light. I'm gonna try alternatives, cuz uhhh... my cheap Roku TV actually went out last weekend, probably because I have my TV on wayyy more than it should be. "Halloween Baking Championship" on I think Food Network
Henson has been doing this for 10 years now, it's kinda staged but its mindless and we fall asleep during the 2 hour episodes, not much offensive in there
This is usually the answer for us. Leave It To Beaver last night. Sometimes Gunsmoke or another old western seriesLaw and Order reruns
The goal then is to find something you will fall asleep watching?"Halloween Baking Championship" on I think Food Network

Too suspenseful at bedtime. I'd have to stay up to see who won.
