Your hot takes week 8 (1 Viewer)

time to trade Pollard. Value may not get better, Spears returning, offense struggling

trade for D Smith (Phi). Value may not get lower. Schedule is a top passing schedule

QB was deep last year and it seems we have returned to the 3-4 elite and everyone else not so much

Sterling Shepard plays the Godwin slot role and hits double digit points in PPR. He was also Bakers go to WR in college and short notice prep without 2 WR's this week has them leaning to a vet IMO.

I think this is a good one. We all want McMillan to be that guy to replace Godwin, but not sure he’ll be more than just another piece of the puzzle.

Cade Otton could get some major targets here as well.

I just struggle to see Sterling staying healthy and putting it all together at this point

Two hot ones:

1. Play all your Packers and Jags. I foresee AT LEAST 60 total points in this game.

2. Tank Dell reintroduces himself to the fantasy public.
I foresee AT LEAST 8 catches...120 yards...2 TD's.

Jamies Winston will be a top 3 QB this week and top 10 for ROS or how long he keeps the job and along with that Njoku will be a top 3 TE for ROS(or how long Winston keeps the job) and Juedy will produce stats like he was doing in second half of the the 2022 season when it looked like he finally full on broke out.

This is what i'm talking about, that's a "censored- fbomb" hot take

Yeah, let’s stick to this week’s hot takes. Not ROS.

I can see Javonte Williams be RB1 this week due to his matchup vs. the Panthers.

Hot Take Numero Uno this week on ESPN MMQB was...Aaron Rodgers is roached, done and finito as the Jets sink to 2-5...it's an easy hot take for most
Is Rodgers really cooked? I have this funny feeling that some how and some way the Jets at some point make it to .500
Be that 6-6, 7-7, 8-8 and somehow could win and get in for the final Playoff spot
One team is coming out of the West and South IMHO and the leaves a lot of wiggle

Don't even start Colts fans, you're gonna see first hand who wins the South this weekend

I would be wary of starting any Seahawks other than walker. The way to beat them is to run on them and the bills will do that and dominate time of possession

Bo Nix is QB1 overall with a sweet match-up... becomes the most-added FA before week 9 as everyone realizes his schedule ROS is a parade of cupcakes.

At least for one week, all of Miami's problems are solved by Tua being back. The entire offense looks like they were projected to preseason, and Miami beats Arizona in the highest scoring game of the week.

The Jags run into a real issue about what to do with Travis Etienne, after Tank Bigsby leads an upset over Green Bay.

AJ Brown continues looking like the WR1 overall, with another game with 100-ish yards and a TD. Eagles quietly move to 5-2 (4-0 in games with AJ)

Brock Bowers has a herculean effort against KC (12+ catches) as the Raiders shock the world and... cover against KC.

- Derrick Henry with a 40+ yd TD run
- Joe Mixon with 100 yd and a TD
- Trey McBride with 5 catches and a TD
- Tyreek with 6 for 120 and a TD

Did you know that after a 55 mile ferry ride between Alaska and Russia across the Bering Strait you can you can drive from the United States to India? How long would it take? Has it ever been done?

As for week 8, the Colts are getting healthy and will shock the world against the Texans.

This hot take is crazy enough to inspire me to pick up and start Jameis this week over Dak, Kirk, Geno and Maye.

It helps that Baltimore is already down some corners from their already league worst secondary.

I hope I don't steer you wrong. Consensus is way lower on him then me, only ranking I saw that shared my positivity was Maurile Tremblay who has him at 8 for the week.

But I am putting my money where my mouth for the most part and starting him over the likes of Mahomes, AR, Trevor. AR was the most difficult call of those group.

I will say because I seem to be a man on an island I pulled back a little on some other places I was going to start him. But even with those two CB's healthy the Ravens were 31st in fantasy points allowed to QB's. I think my biggest fear is a bunch of turnovers and benching. But the expected game script and matchup are abotu as good as it gets.

Dak vs him would be my call if I was in your shoes. I would view both as a degree of upside/risk but Winston more so in both cases so if it was me and I wanted to play it safer I'd go Dak, Winston if I wanted to get riskier but shoot for higher.

Marvin "The Disappointment" Harrison Junior(although it's becoming suspect that he's really related to Senior) . . . what was I going to say?

Oh. Yeah. Ceiling week.

7/140/2
