Your week 15 playoff roster... (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
Thought this might be interesting as I sit here debating my Romo over McNabb/Campbell call.

Simple format. List the players starting/bench and one comment line allowed. NO paragraphs of why you feel x is a better play than y. Include (if you want) league size, dynasty/redraft, PPR, etc. One team per post pls.

DO NOT request advise about someone on your bench who maybe should be starting for your team. You can comment about possible lineup changes (again one line) - should be simple enough, right? And I'll get things started.

14 team redraft

QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/Flex (RB,WR, TE), K, D/ST

Starting:

QB: Schaub

RB: S Jax (may bench him for C Jennings @ KC)

RB: Beanie (hang on to the ball when you're killing defenses)

WR: AJ (this team goes w/ Schaub & AJ)

WR: Austin

TE: Witten (can dude please find the endzone?)

Flex: Bowe (my biggest gamble)

K: Cundiff (may go WW if the field is a mess)

D/ST: HOU (off the wire this week over GB)

Bench:

QB: Eli (actually a tough call after last week, but I can't do it)

RB: C Jennings CLE (maybe in for SJax), J Stew CAR

WR: Britt TN

TE: Finley GB

I suppose it'll be interesting to see who's got who.

10-team dynasty, no-PPR.

QB: Schaub

RB: CJ3

RB: MJD(exceeded expectations on Thursday)

WR: Wayne(ditto)

WR: D-Jax(expecting a high scoring game, despite the weather)

TE: VD

K: Kaeding(one game where weather shouldn't be a factor)

D: Arizona(killer matchup, especially if Calvin is out)

Bench

QB: Warner(tough call as usual between him and Schaub. I've used Schaub most of the year so I'll stick with him)

RB: PT(never really considered starting him, but thrilled to have him around)

WR: Harvin(if he can stay healthy he may start over Wayne next week)

WR: Collie(didn't consider him this week, but he's been a TD machine lately and may be worth a look if Wayne sits)

TE: Winslow(I'm got a feeling about him this week, but Davis is playing too well to bench)

D: Seattle(Freeman has been INT-happy the last few weeks, but I just don't trust Seattle enough to use them)

DT - Saints

Worried about weather in Philly with Vernon, DeSean, and Eagles DT (probably a good thing) all in one game. Tempted to sit Benson for another WR option - Megatron, Jennings, or Mason) OR really roll the dice and throw Foster in versus Rams but too big a game to gamble that much methinks.

Entire roster in my signature, but here's my starters:

QB: Schaub. Against the Lams suffering from the swine flu.

RB1: ADP. Of course.

RB2: Charles. Recent WW pickup (guppy league); anticipating a big game.

WR1: DJax. He's on fire; hoping the Philly winds won't slow him down.

WR2: MSW. Thanks for a good Thursday day

Flex: Benson. Bengals homer hoping for a big game

TE: Celek. Crossing my fingers he plays, else it's the WW

K: Hartley. His first start; hoped for a better game last night

D: Philadelphia. Pretty solid start all year; hoping they intercept Smith all day.

Notable benchings:

QB: Favre. He always does well on prime-time, however I couldn't pass over Schaub's matchup

RB: Grant. Playing against a tough Pitt run D.

WR: Megatron. Didn't practice Wed or Thurs...needed to make a Thursday decision btw him and MSW.

K: Stevie G. First time I benched him (with exception of bye)...just wanted the warm weather kicker

Need real good games from my remaining 7. I'm already down by about 40 points (opponent started Manning and Austin), so we will see.

QB Brees (over Schuab)

RB Drew and Charles (over Ganther, Forte and Turner)

WR Fitz, Wayne and Calvin (Bowe)

TE Gonzo (over Celek)

K Crosby (Stover)

DL J Allen, T Scott and S White (over Schobel)

LB Beason, Lofton, Lewis, Bowens (over Greenway)

S Bell and Coleman (over Ndukwe and ROuse)

CB Hall and Joseph (over Griffin)

Starters:

Bench:

Saints D/ST

I'm still up in the air about who I'll start in my remaining 2 RB eligible positions. I really want to start Beanie and Maroney. I'm favored at the moment since I got a huge game from MJD, and a decent game from Romo. Colston was OK, not great. My opponent has already started Addai and Meachem.

QB - Rodgers

RB - Chris Johnson

RB - Ray Rice

WR - Andre Johnson

WR - Crabtree (over Meachem and Megatron)

TE - Scaife

K - Bironas

DEF - Broncos (over Jets)

Highest scoring team in league history and the clear #1 seed. All that said, I feel like this team is ripe for an upset. My average PPG is about 15 more than my opponent and I fully expect to lose.....

WCOFF One & Done - Leading my division - use players once only

QB: Kurt Warner - Expecting big rebound

RB: Laurence Maroney - Benson gets KC next week and Maroney gets Buffalo's defense this week. 'nuff said

RB: Knowshon Moreno - Oakland's D

RB: Jamal Charles - KC's offense even with Bowe back (I hope)

WR: Randy Moss - betting on big rebound

WR: Anquan Boldin - I'll play Fitz next week vs. St. Louis :)

WR: Miles Austin - That worked!

TE: Fred Davis

DEF: Titans Def

WCOFF Online Championship Bracket - I'm in the top 30, but need some big weeks this and next

QB: Brett Farve - (Over Palmer) should be a good enough defense in Carolina for him to need to throw a good bit.

RB: Ray Rice -Chicago...Chicago...

RB: Chris Johnson

WR: Randy Moss - see above

WR: Vincent Jackson - I think he's starting to rebound with the underneath stuff coming his way too.

WR: Mike Sims-Walker - That worked out pretty well.

WR: Austin Collie - Started him over Nicks, Lynch, Felix Jones, and Jermichael Finely. His TD is a good sign.

TE: Kellen Winslow - sneaking suspicion I might consider Finely, but waiting for news.

K: Nate Kaeding

D: Jets

Hyperactive 2 Championship round for Hyper Division - No.1 Seed - first year in this dynasty league

QB: Marc Sanchez - I know...but I had Gradkowski (who took over for Edwards). Weak because I trade Romo for...

RB: Ray Rice - 'nuff said

RB: DeAngelo Williams - Inherited and gladly so.

RB: Julius Jones - He's been decent as a flex, considering Cribbs, Santana Moss, Aromashadu, or Devin Thomas.

WR: Terrell Owens - Hoping he continues his slight uptick in production.

WR: Steve Smith - traded for the Giant this summer and happy about it.

TE: Antonio Gates: Probably won't start Finley over Jones, but like I can start two TEs for next year as needed.

K: Mason Crosby

DEF: Denver Broncos: Great match up and deciding to start over Iggles and Titans.

Footballguys IDP Staff League: 13-0 and facing Rudnicki in semis

QB: Tom Brady - Considered Alex Smith and added Brady Quinn this week in case Brady wasn't less than probable.

RB: Ray Rice

RB: Adrian Peterson

WR: Donald Driver

WR: Ochocinco - Viva la Henry!

WR: Percy Harvin - if he doesn't go, I have the luxury of Devin Thomas for Monday night, so I can hopefully wait.

TE: Vernon Davis - nice match up

K: Mason Crosby

DT: Marcus Stroud - could use Abrayo Franklin, but Stroud has been the top DT

DE: Juqua Parker - Leonard Little with a knee infection...I'll take my chances on Parker

DE: Calais Campbell - Detroit :)

LB: James Harrison - Like my LBs

LB: Jonathan Vilma - scored 23.75 last night :)

LB: Patrick Willis - Really like my LBs

CB: Cortland Finnegan - I still outscoring Darrelle Revis, who I have

CB: Terrelle Thomas - I also have Chris Johnson, but Thomas gets picked on a lot.

RB: Ray Rice

WR: Randy Moss - See above

WR: DeSean Jackson

WR: Steve Smith (Giants)

WR: Greg Jennings - starting over Marion Barber (hope that doesn't bite me, looks like it's possible it might)

What the hell. I'll throw up my main roster, at least:

PPR league(for WRs and TEs), all TDS 6 points:

QB- Matt Schaub

RB- Thomas Jones

WR- Desean Jackson

WR- Steve Smith The Lesser

WR- Calvin Johnson(if he doesn't go, this is gonna be ugly. Will have to insert James Jones or Jason Avant)

PK- Nate Kaeding

D/ST- Nawlin Saints

Benched: No one of significance, really.

!2-team PPR league, TD passes 4 pts:

QB Schaub

RB APeterson/Ryan Grant (could put SJax back in at last minute, but probably won't)

WR VJax/Jennings/Bowe (gambling that Bowe does some work against poor Browns D, especially at home)

TE Olsen (not thrilled about this one as Bears passing attack has fizzled)

K Kaeding

D Vikings (should put up points against pretty anemic Carolina attack and bad kick coverage units)

16-team, 5-keeper, standard scoring league (only bonuses are kicking distance)

QB - Drew Brees (@#$*)!

RB - Jamaal Charles

RB - Ricky Williams

RB - Ryan Grant (can't risk Turner; simply can't)

WR - Steve Smith (NYG)

WR - Braylon Edwards (with Bowe coming back and Sanchez starting, probably makes sense to go with a sketchy #1 over productive #2)

K - Nate Kaeding

DT - Denver

Opponent going with Romo (so I'm down 5 pts to start the week), DeAngelo Williams, Brandon Jacobs, Desean Jackson (I'm f'd), Tony Gonzalez, Dwayne Bowe, Kris Brown, Baltimore

Not feeling confident in a repeat thanks to Brees' dud last night. Would need Charles & RW to carry my team and Turner to stay healthy & punch in a cheap score. Charlie Frye needs to be as awful, if not worse, than Keith Null was last week so Denver's D gets me high double digits. My receivers are absoulte garbage so I'm not expecting much there. Only saving grace is DeAngelo/Jacobs have tough matchups and Brown may miss some kicks which will get penalized.

Good luck to all. :lmao:

ETA: Swapped RB from Turner to Grant; swapped WR2 from Chambers to B. Edwards

Alright Waldman, I'll ignore your blatant disregard for the one team per post rule - but only b/c you are a mod.
