Zach Brown Benched (1 Viewer)

Per rotoworld:

Titans WLB Zach Brown was benched during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 15 loss to the Cardinals.
Brown gave up a 26-yard completion to Andre Ellington on the second series of the game and was strapped to the pine. Third-round rookie Zaviar Gooden has taken over.

Anyone have more news on this? Is this permanent or just a one week thing?

we were talking a bit about it in the casualties thread -- gooden actually started the denver game, and they all kind of shared snaps, which led to some brown complaining, and now this.

I honestly wouldn't trust any ten lb right now.

Picked up Gooden right before this week, wasn't expecting that good of luck. I don't know much about the situation there, I thought Brown would be the last to be benched honestly.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. They were doing fine with McCarthy in the Middle, and Brown at the Will spot. They've started messing with things every week, it makes it difficult for a LB corp to get in sync.

Guess I won't be counting on Brown this weekend. So far this year, the coaches have benched Zach Brown and Colin McCarthy?

Well, the McCarthy benching was completely performance based, because although he was good for us fantasy players when he started a few weeks back, he missed a ton of tackles, thus his demotion.

I've actually cut McCarthy in a couple of deep leagues, b/c I'm getting the feeling that although he's a good fantasy LB, he may end up being a bust in real life.

I haven't read anything good or bad about Brown's performance. Will try to add data to this post later.

IIRC it was mentioned in the McCarthy thread that Brown has missed almost as many tackles as McCarthy
