has re-signed TE Zach Hilton. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

It still amazes me that someone who was so high on everyone's sleeper list (including mine) could be in this situation - being resigned by a bottom-feeding team.

The thing to keep in mind, especially with TEs, is Fantasy value and NFL value aren't the same. We may hype a TE with receiving skills (apparently Zach doesn't quite fit this bill), but if he can't block worth a damn, he won't last long on an NFL roster unless he truly excels as a receiver. But if he could block, he'd start. In the end, the consensus here was too high on him, but he has the physical make up of a top FF TE.

Speaking of Reshard Lee, it appears that Art Shell is visiting the Football Guys forums and picking up on the Reshard Lee hype as he used him as a kick returner last week.

Sometimes a team re-signs someone and they're sorry(regret) they let him go and he suddenly comes back with the team having a distinct purpose for him. Sometimes, most often, it's just depth and the guy won't be heard from til he's cut again the following year.

Did Mangini think Baker was better than he is? Does he want to try 2 TE sets because their running game stinks? Is Baker hurt and we don't know it yet?

"My" pats cut their best WR all preseason, a hustler "give it all" kinda guy BB usually covets and.....it made no sense. BUT They resigned him shortly after and he, not Jackson Gabriel and someone else was active as a week 1 WR. He hasn't done squat but he obviously wound up getting the spot he deserved even though he was cut.

I'd like to know what's up with Hilton IF anything.before I jump to a conclusion here.

Keep in mind Boo stunk for the Giants and everyone here was chatting about him with the Seahawks possibly. Opporunity in FF, ya know?

complete guess-I'd guess it's a move to more two TE sets. They cut backup FB Jamar Martin.

They have 4 TEs and 1 FB now
