**** OFFICIAL **** LOST - The TV Series (4 Viewers)

cap's right.. also..

what happened in the last 50 days that would cause all of civilization to end? we saw a ton of people at the airport as everyone was boarding so we know that people were on earth at that point.. also how does desmond know everyone is gone, did he go around the world?? doubt it.. maybe went to one place at most in that short a time (20 days)

Maybe that event is what caused the plane crash?

More interesting spoilers.

No idea if they are real or not.

LOST FINALE REVEALED

This is what happens on the Season Finale:

Survivors think they are being rescued when they see the boat. Jack swims out to the boat. Desmond is inside the bunker. They bring him ashore. Desmond has tons of booze with him. And a dark secret. Jack asks him where he was, what he did.... During the 23 days he was gone, Desmond managed to fix his sailboat and sail off the island. Jack asks him what he isn't telling them. We get FLASHBACKS of Desmond's life before the island, and when he first crashed there. Notable points here would be that Desmond was married to a girl named Penny, Libby was married to Charles Widmore, and Desmond borrowed Libby's boat for 200 grand for his race around the world. Desmond also made the glow-in-the-dark map in the hatch. And Kelvin is, or was, the twin of a certain Joe Inamn, CIA man from Sayid's flashbacks. We see Kelvin drag Desmond to the hatch, type in the button, show Desmond the film, and Desmond begins pushing the button as well. Present day, At night Jack and Sayid come up with a plan involving Desmond's boat. Desmond disappears off into the jungle, heading for the hatch. The next day, Jack and gang load up to go. The 5 survivors depart. Charlie tells Hurley good luck. Michael leads them off. In the hatch, Eko continues to push the button. Locke enters and they talk. Locke laughs that he still pushes the button. Eko says he is a man of faith. Jack Kate Michael Sawyer and Hurley make their way though the jungle. They begin to pass though what Hurley says is the Dark Territory. There are MANY fallen trees around them. They camp for the night. Michael talks about how these people have harmed the survivors, particularly the 5 of them. Killed Shannon Libby, etc. etc. Locke and Eko are having their discussion in the hatch. Locke argues with Eko on how he thought this place was destinty, that the island built him up just to knock him down, it is all an experiment. Locke tells him he plans to see what happens when the button reaches zero once and for all. He wants to make sure he is right. Eko doesn't agree with this. Desmond reaches the hatch and talks with Locke and Eko inside. He seems pissed. Asks Locke if he continued to push the button. Locke says yes. Desmond doesn't believe that Locke pushed it. Atop one of the hills, Jack and gang find a big pile of tubes from the Pearl hatch. Michael tells them they aren't far now and gotta keep going. He leads them to the the spot where Zeke and The Others captured him. THE WHISPERING RETURNS. They begin to hear whispering. LOTS of it this time. Jack yells out that it's a trap when he spots one of them in the trees. They all open fire on, it would seem they are surrounded. There is another lockdown inside the hatch. We don't know why, but could this be some sort of final test? Locke is trapped inside the Geodome with Desmond. Eko is locked out. Eko yells at Locke that he can't let the timer reach zero, but Locke has other ideas. The timer is at 107 minutes. Bernard talks with Claire and the baby, inquiring on what the vaccine is for. Claire explains to him, they bond. Sayid talks with Jin and Sun. He formulates a plan with Jin. Sun translates for him. Jin understands. Eko seeks Charlie's help on the situation in the hatch. He rushes to the beach and tells him they need to go gather the dynamite Charlie knows where it is. In the Hatch, Desmond and Locke argue about the button. Locke tells Desmond the button is not real, that it was all an experiment of the Dharma Initiative. Desmond screams at him "Don't tell me it isn't real!" Desmond tells Locke that he sailed away from the island. He was going to get them all rescued. But that when he reached land, he discovered THERE WAS NO HUMANITY left. Desmond says that the entire world was not there. There was absolutely nothing. He believes that the button is to blame, calling back to what the original Dharma film said. Locke is shaken by this, but thinks Desmond is crazy. The timer is at 43 minutes by now. Eko and Charlie gather dynamite from the stash and run to the hatch. Eko plans to blow the blast door. Charlie thinks he's off his rocker. Eko believes Desmond that the timer DOES do something when it reaches zero. Meanwhile Jack and gang are all been captured by The Others. They are being led back to the village. Jin and Sayid have taken Desmond's boat and followed Rousseau's map along the shoreline to where Sayid believes could be the location of The Others. They spot the giant rock with the hole in it. Sayid sneaks up along the rocks with his gun, Jin trails him. To make it short, they interrupt the party and attack The Others. A fight ensues. Sawyer fights Zeke, and rips his fake beard off. Gives a funny quip here. SAYID IS SHOT, straight in the chest and falls back into the water. As chaos ensues in the camp, Michael sneaks up to the door in the cliff. There's a Dharma symbol resembling just a door. One of the guards guarding is shot. Michael enters in and closes it behind him. Inside this room is the BIG reveal. Back at the hatch, The timer is at 23 minutes. Eko and Charlie enter in with the dynamite. Set it. Locke and Desmond argue inside as the timer reaches 15 minutes, 8 minutes, 4 minutes. The beeping starts up real loud. Eko blows the blast doors; Charlie is knocked against the cement wall unconscious. Eko runs in to push the button before the time runs out. Locke has knocked Desmond out unconscious with Eko's Jesus stick. Locke and Eko come to fists. Locke beats Eko to the ground. He takes the stick and SMASHES THE COMPUTER. It's busted. So now there's no stopping the timer. At the Others camp, Jack Kate Sawyer and Hurley seem to have overpowered The Others. Inside The Door. Michael finds Walt in here, but is confronted by the FAKE HENRY GALE. Fenry tells Michael everything about what he is seeing right now, I won't tell you this as I don't want to spoil this surprise at least. But it involvers 3 other people, the plane crash, Hanso, and a key. There's a SINGLE monitoring TV inside this room as well. It's a monitor for Station 3. Fenry tells Michael that he needs leave the island now if he wants to escape with Walt. The boat is ready for him in a back exit. The Timer at the hatch reaches ZERO. Something DOES happen. What is it?? You'll see. And so does Michael and Walt as they escape the island with the boat, leaving everyone else behind. If you are to believe Desmond, they will find nothing else left.

looking around the 4815162342.com spoiler forums there is a lot of talk about the spoiler hulk posted... most think its a fake as the guy "insiderscoop" doesnt post his spoiler until much closer to the episode.. heres a snippet of one of the posts

----

Lol, that spoiler has been posted on multiple sites by multiple people claiming it as their own.

The person who posts as Insiderscoop on the ABC boards is under investigation by ABC/Disney lawyers, when I was reading this report one of the writers debunked this spoiler.

He might post this week, he might not. If he doesn't, it's because he's fearful or getting caught or has been caught.

Most rumors are that he has no direct connection to the show so he is not covered by confidentiality agreements, however his source might be.

either way i am on pins and needles for this finale

"Live Together, Die Alone"

SEASON FINALE

After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront "The Others" and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the "button" and the hatch, on the two-hour season finale.

Did anyone see Desmond in the episode last week?  The article in Entertainment Weekly this week says that he was on the beach chugging a bottle of booze.  I don't recall seeing a scene like that.
I didn't. Are you sure that he isn't on the beach in the finale since it is supposed to be sort of Desmond centric.
I thought that maybe the EW article was referring to something that would happen during the finale, but the Desmond sighting was mentioned in the article at the same time they mentioned how Eko was talking with Michael as he mopped up Ana Lucia's blood so the article made it seem as if the Desmond sighting happened last week as well. I never saw him though and it appears no one else did either so I am guessing it happens this week as you speculate.

A lot of this seems pretty fishy. MANY of the points brought out were in the preview for this week. I say it's a fake.

It feels like Christmas today.
:goodposting: I said this exact thing to my wife this morning.
My Mother-In-Law is visiting tonight. :hot: I may not get to watch until 11pm. :sadbanana:
I wouldn't care. My DVR is non-HD and hooked up to a 27" TV. I can watch it live in HD on a 65" TV. Nothing is getting in the way of my viewing it in all its glory. My youngest goes to sleep at 8pm and I will have enough snacks, drinks, videos and liquor that my 5 year old can handle to keep him out of my room until he falls asleep! My wife loves the show so she isn't the babysitter tonight.
What was the URL of the site that had the PBP of the episode before it aired?
Nah, I was already there, wasn't that one...
Spoilerfix.com is probably the best spoiler site to go to. They give you some generalizations, i.e. the finale will star Desmond, but they don't give play by plays. I like that site because they usually have info on upcoming episodes, i.e. who-centric it is and sometimes other high level things that so far haven't ruined any episodes for me. They tend to have some info a few weeks ahead of time, but by the time you have seen the Next Week's Previews, their info is usually not much of a spoiler anymore.Edit to Add: To answer your question, I think the PBP comes from the ABC.com forums. I recall earlier this season being interested to find out if the info was correct and found the guy's post and it was dead on and it hadn't been edited, so the guy that posted it definitely had seen/read the episode ahead of the actual airing.

Two things:

1) GB working for a major book retailer. Just picked up a couple complementary copies of Gary Troup's Bad Twin. One for me, and one for giving away. First Lost fan to PM me with his/her address gets it. (I only have room for one PM at the moment, so you'll know you're the lucky winner if you don't get a "Message Box Full" reply.)

2) Possible Spoiler:

Locke and Eko fight tonight...
...which helps support the theory I forwarded over six months ago. Ha!

:lmao: You aren't going to be happy until you hear this, huh?

Jack: Locke, where are you going now?

Locke: Jack, I have faith and I am no longer encumbered by the button as I once was, that isn't what the island wanted.

Sawyer: Oh yeah, Gilgamesh, well why don't you say hi to Ishtar for me.

Season 3 interview

Michael Emmerson (henry gale) may be joining the official cast...um...more of alex, the others, Frogurt, "other survivors" of the plane crash...

Destination L.A. Children's Defense Fund Charity Event

May 20, 2006

Jennifer Godwin (JG): I was watching Evangeline Lilly on Leno the other night, and she was saying it's rough doing international press because they ask the same questions as the American press, just a year later. So, if you were the press, what would you ask you with three days to go before the finale? And I know, I'm totally lazy, making you do my job for me.

Carlton Cuse (CC): I'd ask...Is there going to be any romance in the finale? And the answer is yes.

JG: Is 42 the sixth number because it's the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy--assuming the first five numbers when considered outside of the show are Yankee jersey numbers?

CC: You know, we can't comment about the numbers. The numbers are one of those things--I can't say.

JG: Because the numbers are a pain in your ***! Someone said next season is "Us versus Them." This season had a lot of conflict: man of faith, man of science, people breaking up, tailies versus midsection.

CC: Tailies versus fuselage--this is a Fuselage party after all.

JG: Is next season everyone joins forces against "Them" and stops fighting and trying to hurt each other?

CC: I will say that the next season is a lot about the Others. That's...there's a lot of mysteries about the Others that we'll be getting into next year.

JG: Michael Emerson is supposedly joining the cast. Michael Emerson, yes, no, can you confirm?

CC: Um...I will neither confirm nor deny at this point.

JG: Alex is probably--of all the new Other people introduced--the most popular.

CC: Really?

JG: Which could be bad, because she's 16 in real life, and it could get kind of jailbaity.

CC: She's 18! The actress is 18. She has the same birthday as me so I know she's 18.

JG: Will we see more of Alex next season?

CC: Um, yes.

JG: Will she be reunited with her mother?

CC: I hope so!

JG: You have a lot of boys on the show, and very few girls at this point. Would you guys intentionally correct that imbalance, um, I

assume the story has to tell you how to do it, but how would you approach maybe getting more--

CC: Well, I mean, we haven't met all of the Others, and we haven't met all of the survivors of the plane crash yet.

JG: A lot of the redshirts have a kind of following among the fans. Would you bring forward one of actors who's been playing sort of a

background role like a Craig or a Steve/Scott--

CC: Neil Frogurt!

JG: Yes, Frogurt.

CC: Neil Frogurt. Adam [Horowitz] and Eddie Kitsis, who write on the show--would you like to comment on Neil Frogurt arriving on the show next year?

Adam Horowitz (AH): I would say that I can neither confirm nor deny, but what I can say is Neil Frogurt is very close to my heart. And hopefully to the hearts of a lot of Americans. That is the hope.

CC: You could probably go a little further with what you say.

JG: Tell me more, tell me more!

AH: We are working diligently to bring Neil Frogurt on the air.

JG: Have you cast him?

AH: No.

JG: Okay, here's a big question: Scott was eulogized, but rumor has it that it was actually Steve that was killed, even though Hurley apologized for calling Scott Steve. Which one is really alive?

CC: I have no idea.

JG: That's your official executive producer answer? You have no idea?

AH: We actually have a notecard on the board in the room that says "Scott is dead, Steve is alive."

CC: Yes.

AH: We'd lost track.

CC: Scott's dead, Steve's alive.

JG: What surprised you most about the season?

CC: How awesome Michael Emerson was. I think he was going to come on for a couple of episodes--originally, storywise, we thought he might be in two--and he ended up being in eight or nine because he was so amazing.

JG: When he said "They're going to crucify me," I said I hope they actually crucify him, because he's devil. But I dunno, he might good. Ethan seems to think he might be good.

CC: No crucifications coming up.

JG: Will we learn anything about the characters we know from the show through the Lost Experience?

CC: The Lost Experience will provide, you know, really, mythology about the Hanso Foundation which obviously relates to what's going on on the show. I mean, you won't have to have gone through the Lost Experience to enjoy the show, but it will definitely deepen your knowledge of the world of the show and the mythology, if you gather all the information over the course of the summer.

JG: But we won't necessarily stumble across surveillance photos of Jack when he was 14?

CC: No surveillance photos of Jack.

JG: Are Sawyer and Kate gonna have sex next season? I vote yes.

CC: Are Sawyer and Kate gonna have sex next season? I don't know, Adam, what do you think, yes or no?

AH: Yes or no? Will they have sex? I'm gonna go with: Watch.

CC: He's good! He should be in the CIA. I think he wants to have--I think he wants to see them have sex.

AH: Wanting to see them have sex and them actually having sex are sometimes very far apart, but we build bridges at Lost. But we will check you off under the "yes" column.

Hulk, I'm soooo tempted to read your spoiler....made it through the first few lines then made myself stop. Lost has me so sucked in right now I'm gonna miss it until the fall. At least "Rescue Me" starts season 3 next week, so I'll have another watchable show to keep me interested until fall.

FWIW, I've offered to make dinner AND watch an hour of TIVOed "Guiding Light" with the girlfriend tonight prior to the finale. THAT'S dedication, baby!

Or it might spoil everything.

The dreaded double edged sword.

Coincidence that the writer's last name is Goodwin?

My predictions for tonights show.

This is just my gut talking here, combined with a hints here and there that I've come across.

I will invisitext them as one or two might actually be correct.

1. I believe we will discover that the fake Henry Gale is in fact the leader of the Others. I think he is running their whole show on the island.

2. I believe that Locke will destroy the countdown computer somehow, and that when the timer runs out there will be explosions in the hatch, but the world will not end because of it. However, it will trigger 1 other as of yet unseen reaction.

3. I believe that Desmond, when he returns, will be borderline nuts. I think he will suggest something earth shattering to the Losties, but it will end up only being ravings of a tortured mind.

4. Via a flashback, we will see that Libby is married or related to a high up guy in either Hanso or Widmore. She will also sell a boat to Desmond, and it will be the very boat we saw at the end of last weeks episode.

5. I believe we also will see that Libby was a deeply planted mole. She was on flight 815 when it crashed, and she was the reason it crashed. She had some sort of equipment on board to mess with the navigational equipment to bring the plane to the island, and then she detonated a small explosion which tore the plane into 3 parts.
Those are best, most educated guesses about the big  moments tonight.
