Wouldn't that be the Shiznitttt! All this time Tony is still in a coma! The sun at the end flashed just like the lighthouse beacon in his coma induced dreams.
- it's all purgatory!!!Wouldn't that be the Shiznitttt! All this time Tony is still in a coma! The sun at the end flashed just like the lighthouse beacon in his coma induced dreams.
I enjoyed the last 40 min. more than the first 20, personally. So much going on there that harkened back to the Kevin Finnerty dream sequence last year. This is one of the first times that time has gotten away from me, and I was surprised and disappointed when the first credit flashed. Now, of course, we're left to wonder exactly how Tony "gets" it. Was this a reaffirmation of the Kevin Finnerty experience for Tony where he'll be more pragmatic and big-picture about life, or was the shot of the devil in the casino and his winning big thereafter a sign that Tony is now "selling his soul to the devil"?Awesome first 20min, horrid next 40min.
There were a few other shots of him staring at lights. Also, when he was entering the casino with the girl and both of them high, he was looking up, heavenward almost, and then the devil image catches his eye instead. Also, the last AJ therapy session seemed almost exactly like prior ones we've seen from Tony. Interesting. The sun at the end flashed just like the lighthouse beacon in his coma induced dreams.
Man, reading this post really makes you realize what a different show this is from the 1st 2-3 seasons. Its actually sad. What the hell happened to my Sopranos?????I enjoyed the last 40 min. more than the first 20, personally. Great episode. Last 20 minutes were sort of uneven, but I liked it.Man, reading this post really makes you realize what a different show this is from the 1st 2-3 seasons. When does he kill Melfi?
WHERE'S MY OLD SOPRANOS!!!Seems like if here isn't a murder people think the episode suxor
When does he kill Melfi?
With the Christopher thing, I don't care about the Kevin Finnerty dream sequence, or Tony's psyche, or Vito's son, or the Russian in the woods, or the Arabs. The rest of the series needs to be major action to hold my attention. There is a dead gorilla in the room; this is the biggest thing that's happened in the series IMO.I enjoyed the last 40 min. more than the first 20, personally. Then you're watching the wrong show, and you have been for years now.The rest of the series needs to be major action to hold my attention.
Did I miss a spoilerWhen does he kill Melfi?

Bipolar?AJ crying to his shrink about why can't we all get along - what do you make of that? Is he thinking he needs to step in on his friends and not let them do the things they do - that he needs to take a stand (just like his father) or is it something else? If so, what?
After 80 episodes, protagonist #1 kills protagonist #2. That's how I am going to remember this show. Then you're watching the wrong show, and you have been for years now.The rest of the series needs to be major action to hold my attention.
I don't see how you can like the Vegas part more than the Christopher part, but thats me. The only good things that came out of the Vegas part was the hooch, and the call from Phil. Agree on both. It turned bad for AJ again.Second half of this episode sucked.SOMETHING big is going to happen to AJ. Suicide maybe.
I enjoyed it. You didn't.Lousy episode. A tragedy that Chris's downfall came to this, and even sadder than some of you will try to justify this as a good episode.
Really? I don't see that. He's going to class, he's listening in class - he's making a life change here, IMO. I just don't know how to interpret what was said in the session with his shrink. I'm open to all thoughts.Bipolar?AJ crying to his shrink about why can't we all get along - what do you make of that? You're more easily impressed than I am. And I'm fine with that.I enjoyed it. You didn't.Lousy episode. A tragedy that Chris's downfall came to this, and even sadder than some of you will try to justify this as a good episode.
This is why I come to these threads, for observations like this (seriously)... Thanks in advance, RN, for your continued contributions to all things Sopranos in the FFA....Loved the hottie T was banging in Vegas.
Speaking of that, remember the song that was playing when they were smoking a joint? Same song played at the beginning of "House Arrest", which was episode 11 of season 2... when Richie ordered the garbage to be dumped back on to the deli owner's property.
FWIW
Just kidding. Seemed like he was acting pretty wacky in that 2nd therapy session. Maybe the beat down of the guy on the bike got his chemistry all out of whack. No, you.Really? I don't see that. I think you could say that he's in a situation that he's not entirely comfortable or happy with, but he doesn't know how he can get out of it. Thus, life's not fair. Sounds kinda familiar to me...AJ crying to his shrink about why can't we all get along - what do you make of that? You're a bitter jag, who thinks the show owes you something. I'm fine with that too. You're more easily impressed than I am. And I'm fine with that.I enjoyed it. You didn't.Lousy episode. One of the hottest on the show in a long time.Loved the hottie T was banging in Vegas.
Right. I like to watch TV because these people "owe me" something. Sharp observation, as usual. You're a bitter jag, who thinks the show owes you something. She was nekkid on the show before. Chris did blow with her, as she sat there topless."Those are some amazing ####," he said to her.One of the hottest on the show in a long time.Loved the hottie T was banging in Vegas.
those were the two girls in the car Chris hit.The title of this episode "Kennedy and Heidi" - explain? Chrissy's wife Kelly looked and acted like Jackie Kennedy, OK but why is that important? And where does Heidi come in? Was that the name of the chick in Vegas?
Those were the names of the two teenage girls who made Chris run off the road.Chase's titles always have meant absolutely nothing. He doesn't give anything away there. The title of this episode "Kennedy and Heidi" - explain?
