Jorts: Reloaded (2 Viewers)

Been rocking some jorts the past few weeks.

Cut off some old black levis. Just above the knee. Little snug fitting.

I've got probably 4 pair of Levis with torn knees. One pair in particular makes my *** look like taught 16 year old's. I think I'll make some jorts this weekend.

These things never went out of style in the Black (Urban) Community.

Which reminds me of that ep of Always Sunny where there's some black guy fondly remembering his jorts as he admires that Dessert Rose guy's shorts.

"You gotta take em off every now and then, Son!"

Just purchased a "baggy" pair of denim shorts. I stopped wearing them because of this board  butI'm back to the old days and I DON'T CAREhttp://www1.macys.com/shop/product/levis-jean-shorts-569-loose-straight-denim-shorts-dirty-rigid?ID=454035&CategoryID=3310&LinkType=PDPZ1Just 1 pair to wear on occasion
You should rock them with a Phils jersey!

No no no. Not like that. The fabric has to be right. The one you linked are something like toughskins. Thick jeans should not be made into jorts. They need to be thin fabric, very thin, so they can lay relaxed on your frame. What you linked is not acceptable. This is not acceptable:http://realitychicblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/jorts-2.jpgThis IS acceptable:http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B4QwMnfEdqI/TgSK0yahuzI/AAAAAAAABQM/oYyHSt66SLY/s1600/cross+process+jorts.jpgThe last image is a pair of shorts that are stylish and actually FIT, instead of looking like a piece of blue cardboard you wrapped around your legs.

Well if there was any doubt before, here's the post that confirmed it all. Fensalk loves the clock.

Just agree with me. Its always the best move.

To be clear, cut-offs are OK only if they are cut short enough to where the pockets are hanging down below the cut line, right?

Just read this whole thread for the 1st time........And if I'm following correctly a bunch of fashion mavens ridiculed the store bought men's jean short with the finished cuff and possibly these same mavens are considering approving of the actual cutoff men's jean short that were literally popular back in the 70's. If this is the case these same mavens need to apologize to the original "jort" sympathizers. Especially Two Deep who sounds like he may be a lumber jack and by the way has a great profile photo.

No but if I'm following properly it appears the cutoff jean is in the process or already has received the seal of approval from the so -called fashion-conscious. This after they ridiculed others for their jean short wearing. By the way for what it is worth IMO the cutoff is way more gay than the "finished jean short"
