I just Googled Kige Ramsey, he actually got a mention on SI.com.

Funniest thing is that the link to this thread @ FBG is the 5th or 6th site that has his name mentioned.

I love living in Kentucky.
I think I grew up in the town right next to this dude. Should I be proud or :goodposting: ?
It's people like him who Kentucky a bad name, but most of us are awesome, hot, and intelligent. Just hope that you fall into the good category.
I don't know. I knew a few people like that guy growing up and I didn't grow up near eastern Kentucky.:shudders: Actually, he kind of reminds of my overweight, highschool dropout, redneck b-i-l. I definitely don't think it's the norm, but there's probably more in that area of the country than most. Edited by flapgreen

Well I am from Northern Kentucky. From what I've been told it is quite different up here.

I grew up around Bowling Green, so it was probably more so than northern ky but nothing like eastern. My dad's from the nati so I've spent some time in northern ky too.

email Kige kramsey@rville.k12.ky.us :goodposting:

Thats a high-school address. Is he a super-senior or (god help us) does he actually teach today's yutes?

EDIT: I see it's already been asked.

Kige Ramsey for President I'm not making this up. :goodposting:

As far as his email address is concerned - it came from an article that was written in 2004. If he was a senior in HS at the time, that would put him no older than a junior in College right now.

The Right Man for the Job[ 11/10/2004 1:57:30 PM ] By Ben Kees bkees@rville.k12.ky.us

As I told you in my last article, I think that Kige Ramsey would be the ideal candidate for the American presidency.

The Right Man For The Job

As I told you in my last article, I think that Kige Ramsey would be the ideal candidate for the American presidency. I recently interviewed Kige about the platform on which he is running.

Mr. Ramsey thinks we should have better jobs for the American people. He thinks we should rid ourselves of the Bush tax cuts that put us in a large deficit. By doing this, he would raise taxes to get out of debt, and leave the rates the same the rest of his term.

On the war in Iraq, Kige thinks that it was justified because we needed to remove Saddam Hussien from power. However, he thinks we need a better plan for post-war Iraq. Training is needed for Iraqi security forces to better defend Iraq, he says. By doing this, Kige thinks that we could be out of Iraq and could actually have the “Mission Accomplished.”

Kige believes that America is no more secure than it was before 9/11. He has a three-point plan to strengthen Homeland Security. The first point is that we need better airport screeners that are not controlled by the government. The second point is that we need better detection systems that would protect us from many weapons and bombs. The final point is to have Homeland Security representatives on every single plane.

Concerning abortion, Kige is a strong pro-lifer. He would appoint judges who would overturn the Roe vs. Wade decision, would veto any bill that supported abortion, and would try to get a constitutional amendment banning it.

Candidate Ramsey says that gay marriage is wrong. He will support a federal constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. He says that it is forbidden in the Bible and we should stay with our moral upbringings.

The environment is a very important issue to Kige. “We should strongly enforce environmental laws against pollution because if you don’t enforce them, you will have less clean air to breathe, and we all know that clean air is important. I believe that President Bush is seriously undermining this important issue. If he has his way, in a few years, there will be permanent smog clouds over our nation.”

Mr. Ramsey doesn’t in any way, form, or fashion support a military draft. He feels that with proper troop management that we could get all of the troops out of Korea that we do not need. Then we can send those troops to Iraq and that will leave the draft unnecessary.

Kige Ramsey has chosen to run on the Democratic ticket. He endorses views from both the right and left wings. While he is a Democrat, he would like everyone to know that he is more conservative than most of his fellow party members. He is a person whom both parties can vote for.

In closing, Kige urges his fellow Americans “To overthrow the Bush dictatorship. It is ruining the country. We will show Bush on November 2, that it is up to us Americans to rule our own country. We have the power.” He says everyone should get out and vote regardless of their opinion and political affiliation.

There you have it, folks. Straight talk from a true American. With questions and mysteries surrounding both of the major candidates, who can you trust? Kige isn’t a flip-flop, and I think we all know that. He is on our side and wants to see us return to prominence. He truly is the right man for the job. -Ben Kees

Just dropped him a email........

Kige,

Hey guy. Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you I love your work. Just a question. I know you mostly post breaking news, but do you think you could sing a song and post it on youtube? I know it is not on your top #10 song list, but could you make it "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie? If you are not familiar with her work, here is a link to her video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZnWxzFMCHg Keep up the good work.

Will post reply if I get one. :goodposting:

My guess is he goes to Western Kentucky University. He's from Russellville which is about 30 minutes away and google has a letter to the editor that he wrote to WKU's paper. Class of 2005 where his favorite love song was Simply Irresistible by Robert Palmer. Ran a 5k last October and didn't do too bad (30th in his division).

"What do Rosie O'Donnell and Jimmy Carter have in common"

Such breaking news there that he didn't have time to tape the piece of paper on the camera memorize his commentary.
This was hilarious. Brings the pieces of paper out, that presumably he wrote, and he really struggles going through them on camera. He can barely read the stuff HE WROTE.

he will become an internet sensation. I guarantee it. I'll go as far to say he ends up on some late-night talk show as the guest who is too dumb to know why he's there at some point.

I think it's funny that he turns off his webcam after he finishes each broadcast.

as opposed to just leaving it on and staring blankly at the camera?
as opposed to leaving the part out where he walks all the way around the desk to the camera to turn it off, im sure.
