Daywalker 3,034
From Aaron Paul's AMA:"I gotta be honest. I never wanted Breaking Bad to end, simply because I'm a huge fan of the show and I didn't want to be unemployed. But after reading the final 8 episodes and understanding where the writers are going with it. I'm so happy they ended it the way they did and I think all of you will be happy as well. It's a dark, crazy ride to the final episode but it is a fun one. Yeah, #####."Anyone get the feeling Jesse dies?Kind of like I didn't want it to end but I get what the writer's are doing. When I say "end" I mean the end of Jesse. Edited August 14, 2013 by Daywalker
drummer 829
I'd rather see Walt die than Jesse. Jesse is sort of the moral compass of the whole thing. Jojo the circus boy 43
Watching the Pilot episode. I think Walt is driving Jesse's original "Capn" car. It's a beater car the gun guy supplied him. Walt didn't even know which car it was until he hit the button to lock/unlock it. The gun was already in the trunk. Heisenberg's car Capn's car

Which is why Jesse dying would be more of a punch in the stomach.Walt's an amoral character that has been dead even before his self created birth into becoming Frankenstein. Everything around him is rotten except Jesse. Skylar accepting his amoral ways won't save their own children. Walt's son is just another example of another failure in his mind with his son's challenges. Walt was a man who once believed in the basics of what a human creation was based on. What he believed ultimately betrayed him. Jesse doesn't know any better other than what his own heart tells him. Walt can't survive without Jesse because Jesse is his soul now. He always saves Jesse because without him he means nothing. So it makes sense that Jesse has to kill him. It's the perfect release of Walt's tortured soul. That being said, Gilligan will mind screw us with that established dynamic in the end. Edited August 14, 2013 by drummer

TobiasFunke 29,546
All the comparisons between Walt and Gus at this point. Wonder if Walt poisons everyone with the ricin similar to how Gus poisoned the cartel. I know it has been pointed out that the ricin is not fast acting. The ricin has been focused on so much it has to have a big role to play.Didn't people used to say this about Hank's minerals though? I remember we all thought he'd come across something while doing his mineral collecting that would help him make the connection to Walt and break the case open. I don't remember anything coming of it though, although maybe I forgot. Also I think the ricin already has played a big role. Its made the rounds quite a bit and been used in a couple different plot points, most notably when Jesse thought he'd poisoned the kid. Based on the flash forward it does look like it's coming back for more, but it's not really a Chekhov's gun thing at this point. It's played a part even without being deployed. Also this sounds interesting Hank had so much inner angst for the last three seasons; well see how much inner angst goes on in the last eight episodes. [Laughs.]And this:I would just love it if Hank were the last man standing. You can still be the hero and not be standing. Also Norris's take on that last scene is WW pleading with hank to be careful not just a threat. shadyridr 14,320
Good start to the season. Here's my guess how it goes: Crazy Tuco ain't gonna last long and the boys will take over his empire. Walt will struggle with leading the dual life and eventually either get so sick from the treatments or just tired of always worrying about his family that he will try to quit. Its funny reading predictions from page

Love the look that Hank gave after the got the fake Heisenberg. Too easy and he knows it. I can't wait for the moment Hank realizes that Walt is the guy....which will probably coincide with Hank's fatal heart attack.Wow this one was close

Christo 6,185
The Wire and BB are obviously close.Rewatchability? I'd give the nod to The Wire. More characters. More layered. But I have no hesitations recommending BB to anyone. The Wire? Somewhat recommend it to a more discerning viewer. A 19-year-old sorority chick would love BB. The Wire? Not as likely.BB deserves points for being accessible to everyone. For that reason I'd give the nod to BB over The Wire.I'm not disagreeing with this. I agree but I don't know why.I don't see a 19 yo chick "loving" either show.
