Bossman 1,796
Thought it was very well done. I also looked at it like a "double episode" rather than a movie. SPOILER ALERT! Scene with Jesse and the fake FBI ... I hadn't even considered them to be impostors (I know, everyone else in here KNEW they were phony, right?) ... "Lieutenant!? Come in here... " I'm thinking "This is it? Now how the #### does he get out of THIS?! ... Gotta shoot both FBI cops here, no?" ... Then Jesse doesn't and as they take him to the floor I'm thinking "wow, that's it. All done." .... and then I'm like "wait a tick .... GILLIGAN, you GOT ME AGAIN!!". Loved it. Didn't understand the truck cap scene until there was a dead body to dispose of. Well done. My favorite scene was at the diner with Walt. I laughed out loud at the classic Jesse "I graduated high school D###!". So Jesse. Nothing to really nit pick. Didn't care for the tow truck driver "uh oh, Lojack! Gotta go". Should think as savy as Jessie and his posse are, would have disconnected the battery prior to. Also, the way Lojack worked back in the day, only some police cars have the device to track it ... and they need to be in a certain range. Not like Onstar that used satellite. Tow truck driver actually could have disabled before it was picked up by police. But the movie needed that to give skinny Pete and Badger there hero moment. Maik Jeaunz 1,441
I liked the movie. didn't love it, but liked it well enough. it was actually nice to get some time dedicated to Jesse since he was only a bit player at the end of the series. all of the fan service stuff was actually a detractor for me. I probably would have liked a little less "hey look, it's that guy!" and a little more story. but it was still cool.
jdoggydogg 2,030
Loved El Camino. I wish Vince Gilligan would make a new Jesse series.
RUSF18 3,847
I started rewatching the series on Monday and I'm almost through season 2. I have a job, a wife, a kid and I've watched a lot of playoff baseball this week so I'm not sure how I've done this, but I did. Forgot how good the early seasons were. The General 24,552
Started off great. Little lull in the middle with Todd but classic BB with how weird/psychotic that guy was. Good ending. The shootout with the welders was great. Ill watch Vince Gilligan make a show about pretty much anything at this point.

Yeah, I'm finding the same. I was watching the "I.F.T." episode from season 3 in my re-watch last night. She was so great in that episode.

Then she was the corruption equivalent of "i will mitigate the sin of prostitution by being a bad lay" and that drove me to absolute distraction every time a story was based around the home for the rest of the series. Scoresman 6,602
I would watch a series based solely on Skyler making pancakes for Finn. Anything in the BB universe is gold.
RUSF18 3,847
I'm not trying to live blog my rewatch or anything, but last night I was watching the penultimate episode of season 2. The very end of course is when Walt unintentionally knocks Jane onto her back as he's trying to wake Jesse. My wife was watching with me and she has a real aversion to seeing people throw up, real or fake, so I muted it as she looked away as it all played out. Watching Cranston act that scene out with no sound, just focusing on his actions/inactions/reactions, was just incredible. The next time you find yourself on Netflix without something specific to watch, do yourself a favor and pull up this episode and watch the ending with no sound. Promise you won't be disappointed. And since there are no good samaritan laws in ABQ, you have that added benefit of seeing Walt not break any laws in the scene.

Walking Boot 8,296
Yeah, finally got around to seeing it, it was fine. Not awful. So-so. Really, it's the "Solo: A Star Wars Story" of the BB universe: shoehorning in all the best bits and callback characters into a story of a 72-hour period just so we can see them one more time. Also, good to see Jesse Plemmons is still leaning hard into becoming Fatt Damon

Second only to his phone call to Skylar in Ozymandius, which may be the greatest bit of acting I've ever witnessed (at least, been cognizant of).

TheIronSheik 8,167
Finally got around to watching it Friday night. Not impressed. Felt like it dragged on forever. Scoresman 6,602
I could watch an entire series of Jesse going on nature hikes in Alaska and I wouldn't be bored.
