10 stroke leadOne stroke back on the last day with everyone bunched there is not in the hunt?
Is the new standard for “in the hunt” a 5 stroke lead?
that long bunker shot wasnt aggressive?I’m not sure it’s aggressive or just a little tight and with a poor decision on the flop shot - IMO.
He is certainly not trending up, and with that many guys ahead of him now with so few holes to play, gonna be tough to pull it out now. I don't think anyone would deny that it is exciting when Woods is in the hunt, regardless.I would personally put tiger at about 15-1 right now.
He can’t press though - has to try and stay patient and hit good shots. He is certainly not trending up, and with that many guys ahead of him now with so few holes to play, gonna be tough to pull it out now. I don't think anyone would deny that it is exciting when Woods is in the hunt, regardless.
Decent break though. See if he can do anything with itBad tee shot on the par 5 14th.
He's done. He'll be competitive but he lost the fear factor. Looks like The Gold Bear might be out of the woods.Time to bump posts from the Einsteins that said he would never be competitive again...or are you guys frantically going back to delete those posts?
Wind has kept everyone bunched up and kept this exciting. With the conditions yesterday I thought somebody would end up double digits.Wind is really picking up now...
I TOLD YOU GUYS!!!Sinn 6 hours from now:
”See, I told you he wasn’t in the hunt!”
GTFO
He was a better putter when he rammed it in the back of the hole. #nopunintendedHoly hell of a confident birdie putt there.

Solid but not spectacular week...looks like he'll make the WSG and keep progressing towards the Playoff final and the Ryder Cup.gump said:Half way through, but still needs to show he can finish a big back nine on Sunday.
He'll be competitive but he lost the fear factor.Otis said:Still, I contend the guy isn’t “finished” when he’s the leader at any point of the last day of a major, and having the season he’s having. He’s on the brink.
No, and he still hasn't.Short Corner said:Has Tiger ever come from behind in a major before?
He’s gotten better throughout the year. Remember - January was his first competitive golf after spinal fusion.
He’ll never be undisputed #1 again but he could win another 10 tournaments and 2-3 majors in the next 3-5 years.
You have a suggestion? I don’t really wager often.
Wow.....
Wanna make it interesting?
Using your numbers, we will set the O/U on 2.5 majors starting with the PGA this year and running through the end of 2022. That's 17 Major chances for Tiger. I will take UNDER 2.5 for.....$250? $100?You have a suggestion? I don’t really wager often.
Even odds?Using your numbers, we will set the O/U on 2.5 majors starting with the PGA this year and running through the end of 2022. That's 17 Major chances for Tiger. I will take UNDER 2.5 for.....$250? $100?
Yeah, even odds. Counter the offer if you don't like the one I've made. I'm using your words.Even odds?
You move goalposts like Stealthycat.I missed the end. Did tiger win?
So, was he in the hunt, and choked? Or, not really in the hunt? You move goalposts like Stealthycat.
Maybe you should refer to the first post in this thread as a reminder where the goalposts are.You move goalposts like Stealthycat.
HE WAS IN THE LEAD. On what planet does that not definitely prove you were wrong again? So, was he in the hunt, and choked? Or, not really in the hunt?
So he choked? van der Velde style?HE WAS IN THE LEAD. On what planet does that not definitely prove you were wrong again?
I heard 50 on a Sirius broadcast, but it sounded like they were doing the calculations on the fly - no idea how accurate.Tiger jumps to #50 or #51 in the WGR? I’ve heard both. The former he makes the Bridgestone, the latter he doesn’t.
