I thought the Thanksgiving sketch was pretty great, and I loved King Princess (both songs).
Without getting too political, did you think the Thanksgiving sketch gave off an unintended pro-right wing slant? I know it was a parody and flipping the script towards pale faces, buuuuut the Grandpa was right about the blankets and stealing land.I thought the Thanksgiving sketch was pretty great, and I loved King Princess (both songs).
Che’s big break as a guest writer was The M&M Store with Zach Galifinakis.also, seth meyers was on Stern the other day and mentioned that Jost is the one who first found Che and suggested that he be brought in as a guest writer. this was before the daily show. Che was apparently the first guest writer that ever stuck with the show. And he is supposedly a great sketch writer. I can't remember which sketch meyers referenced, but he brought up a really good sketch that was written by che.
Yeah, I would have liked to have heard an outlandish theory from the fox (e.g. there has to be a "you, crane" joke in a draft somewhere). I felt that breaking the 4th wall at the end to admit how ridiculous the whole sketch was kinda forgave the righty toneWithout getting too political, did you think the Thanksgiving sketch gave off an unintended pro-right wing slant? It was really weird. Considering that the white people really did destroy the native Americans, The natural parallel was that the incurrent immigrants are also completely destroying America.Without getting too political, did you think the Thanksgiving sketch gave off an unintended pro-right wing slant? Pretty much how I felt about it. They dropped the cow and hoped Ferrell could rescue it by sheer force. Very early-mid 90s era move.It was really weird. then they broke the fourth wall with that unfunny non-ending which was terrible sketch construction but kind of saved them from the politics
YupFerrell brought his A game and helped the writers out tremendously. it was a great show end to end.
10 inchesPete Davidson out with a supermodel. How is this guy pulling all this tail?
Jeter or somebody I get. Davidson?
i like the Chad character but this particular sketch was fantastic. you're correct about each one getting better with each incarnation.I feel like each chad sketch is better than the last. Also that one was kinda meta based on pete’s dating life
I thought it was a decent episode, but I agree this was way overdone. Then three sketches about JLo being hot.
I thought the monologue was also pretty "look at me" based. So I wouldn't be surprised if her direction to the writer's was "lets make it all about how gorgeous I am."I thought it was a decent episode, but I agree this was way overdone.

The monologue and basically everything before weekend update was talking about how great she was.DallasDMac said:I thought the monologue was also pretty "look at me" based. So I wouldn't be surprised if her direction to the writer's was "lets make it all about how gorgeous I am."
Yeah....feels like they were all written 20 years ago, too. Or they were leftovers from a Scarlett Johansson episode.wikkidpissah said:Then three sketches about JLo being hot.
I don't like the President's ballsso is the President's Cup commie.
Macy sketch was awesome. The fight due to the boots had me rollin'. Same with the big coat seat belt issue. We both really liked the mock Macy’s commercial, which was really hysterical.
Because he didn't even try to be funny at the anniversary special a while back so nobody is sure if he will tonight. Is Eddie tonight? Why is there no buzz about this?
He didn’t perform there did he? Surely he won’t mail in a real gig.Because he didn't even try to be funny at the anniversary special a while back so nobody is sure if he will tonight.
That was about 4 years ago. Definitely seems to be in a different place now if his comedians in cars appearance is any indicationBecause he didn't even try to be funny at the anniversary special a while back so nobody is sure if he will tonight.
And then flashed white power symbols.Yes. Yes he did.Uhh, did Eddie just say one of the seven dirty words...
I mean, its not over yet, but yes all of those charactersNot able to watch. He did Gumby and Mr Robinson? Did he do Buckwheat? Was the show funny?
