Best Chance to Be NO.1 : Adrian Peterson

Biggest Breakthrough to elite status: Darren Mcfadden

Biggest Suprise: CJ Spiller

Rookie of the year: Mark Ingram

Tier 1

1.Adrian Peterson RB MIN AGE:26

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=PET260705

2.Chris Johnson RB TENN AGE:25

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JOH127799

Johnson has an amazing patience/speed combo that really cant be matched by anyone in the league. people considered him a bust last year but im not really sure that is warranted. his YPC took a big drop(5.6 to 4.3) but it seemed that had to do with the fact that the titans (other than britt for a few weeks) didn't really have much around him. The titans were not very subtle about the fact that they were trying to get johnson the ball and it showed in how the defenses schemed against the titans.I do like a bounce back season for johnson this year though. I really like the pick of Jamie harper for depth behind him. Hopefully harper can emerge as a grinder type that can take a few inside carries a game. As much as getting carries taken away is a sensitive subject nowadays, i dont think there is any type of RBBC coming to Tennessee anytime soon. I like Johnson to be a little fresher and bust a few more big runs if everything goes as planned. Johnson is still young and is one of the few studs that can make his situation rather than vise versa. This would definitely be a hold for me in all formats.

3.Arian Foster RB HOU AGE:24

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=FOS107404

Tier 2

4.Jamaal Charles RB KC AGE:24

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=CHA561428

I dont think there was any guy last year that did more with the touches they got. His amazing vision seems to guide him quickly through holes in the line , even if the play wasn't meant to go in that direction. If their were any questions about Charles coming into last season, they were answered emphatically. I still think Johnson is a little more talented but with a little luck charles could definitely give johnson a run for his money at any point. I realize most people hate the way todd haley uses Charles, but I really dont see it as that much of a negative. sure, he only got 275 touches, but do you really want a guy with charles build getting 350 touches a year? I would say 300 touches is more than enough for charles to put up fantastic numbers and stay fresh the entire year. Moral of the story is, hes 24, has an up and coming situation and ran for 6.4 freaking YPC last year...Hes one of the few studs thats still being undervalued(rather than overvalued) and can be had in most leagues for a reasonable price. Hes a Buy or a hold for me in any format.

5. Ray Rice RB BAL AGE:24

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=RIC154451

Ray Rice and Arian Foster go hand in hand to me. They both seemingly (barring injury) have a solid hold on the feature back role for there respective teams. I do like Rice a bit better from a talent stand point and I think he is a better overall player (running between tackles, catching out of the backfield blocking, etc). but, I think fosters situations is better from a fantasy perspective. It just seemed like the texans have so effectively ran the ball the past few years, that no matter who is out there he is going to put up solid numbers. Foster being a solid talent makes that a match made in heaven. The Ravens have a better overall team but it seems the run blocking is lacking a bit compared to the texans. I do like Rice more in PPR and would probably swap him and Stewart if this were based purely on that scoring system. Some people may say this is a little low of a ranking for him but this seems to be right where he belongs IMO. Although Rice ended the year with solid stats, he was very inconsistent from week to week , especially with the amount of carries and touches he was getting. I wouldn't put this on all on Rice, I think it mostly has to do with the Ravens run blocking and the fact that Joe Flacco has yet to put fear in opposing defenses eyes. There is good news for this year , which is that the ravens play the NFC west, This might even out some of the tough match ups like the steelers( lowers his value on these weeks quite a bit). I think Rice is a solid RB1 and is in no danger of losing his job. Knowing that also realize Rice may be a little inconsistent for where you have to draft him in a start up dynasty . Dont avoid him , but dont overpay either

6.Darren McFadden RB OAK AGE:23

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MCF084974

This guy is a MONSTER. The only guy with a better size/speed combo is Peterson. He can take it to the house at any point and can out run most corners. If he gets by the line hes just about unstoppable. The one concern for me is that the raiders fired tom cable at the end of last year and I know he was a big offensive line guru. They seemed to get a solid push for the most part but I have a feeling there might not be as many wide open holes as there were last year. The other concern is that he has proven to be a bit injury prone. The conclusion I came to with that info is that Mcfadden is setting up for a frank gore type of career path. He will miss a few games each year, but, while hes in there you know your going to get consistent, elite production, which is rare these days. Most people are still wary of buying into McFadden because of his first two years,so he can be had for more than a reasonable price in most leagues. Hes another buy/hold for the fact that he hasn't come close to his ceiling (production-wise).

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MEN393702

10.Steven Jackson RB STL AGE:27

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JAC560875

First things first, Steven jackson is an elite player and the team leader of the St Louis Rams. He is the only guy to run for over a thousand yards in each of the last six years and in those six years he has had over thirty eight catches in all of them(38 catches in 12 games in 2007 and 40 catches in 12 games in 2008). The guy flat out produces no matter the situation and sometimes when he was the only talent on the offense. He has been through the rough times with the Rams and it seems Billy Devaney has finally gotten a solid offense around him. With emerging stud QB Sam Bradford and a much improved offensive line, I see potentially SJax's best season this year, even though he may be declining a bit in talent. He has a lot of miles on his legs, but I think with Spags at the helm and Bradford slinging passes there you can expect a few more solid Rb1 seasons from Jackson. Also, dont be surprised if he gets over 10 TDs this year, I have a feeling hes due. He's a very good goal line runner and hes had an unbelievable TD drought over the past few years. Nice, reliable guy to have on your roster if your competing for a championship this year in all formats.

20.C.J. Spiller RB BUFF AGE:23

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=SPI347627

http://forums.footba...howtopic=592915

I think spiller is an elite talent. Elite talents do not come along every year and im very hesitant to take an elite talent( that hasn't gotten a real shot yet) out of my top ten. His situation does look dim right now, but, I have faith that Spillers talent will overcome his situation eventually. It may not even be this year. But thats why these are dynasty rankings. In redraft he would probably be in the 20s somewhere because I think hes a big risk/reward guy. I think his ceiling is so sky high still that im willing to look past last year. Tough to keep him that high but tougher for me to drop him a significant amount on a 74 carry season against one of the toughest schedules in the league. My opinion is that this is a similar situation to Darren McFadden early on. People tossed him to the graveyard after one or two years because his numbers were horrible, completely ignoring that the guy was an elite prospect and a top five pick in the draft. Its not like the Bills are going give up on a top ten pick after one year. I have faith when he gets his opportunity he will flourish.

27.Chris Wells RB ARZ AGE:22

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WEL350689

I will admit, I have liked Beanie's talent ever since college(potentially a little biased) and im not quite sure what about him and his style has kept him from being effective thus far. His career is looking dim right now for Arizona, but, I still hold out complete faith that if this guy 'gets it' he has top 10 dynasty Rb value. I first became enamored with him in his sophomore year at OSU.

http://espn.go.com/n...ameId=280070194

The dude went off on a very talented LSU defense as a true sophomore. I'm also a huge Big Ten guy(being a wisconsin fan) and the guy just ran people over when he was in there. I was happy to see him leave, But I was also very excited to see what he could do in the Pros. I realize a lot of people consider him soft and injury prone, but, I love his talent and think he is still young enough and has enough miles left on his legs to have a strong career. This has reminded of a Thomas Jones type of situation to me since the middle of last year. Just looks like this situation isn't going to work out for Wells. I've been wrong before and I'm sure I will be again, but I think Wells is going to have to find a new team and a fresh start before he emerges. Not saying its out of the question that he lays the hammer down this year, but seems unlikely from what has happend so far. The guy can be had right now (Darren Mcfadden style) for a more than reasonable price and if you are willing to wait a year or two (which most of us are not) hes a great guy to have as your RB3 or RB4.

31.Joseph Addai IND AGE:28

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=ADD152616

I think that Addai has a solid shot to have some redraft value this upcoming season and would definitely be moving up my board depending on how training camp works out. Addai is a very reliable blocker and has solid hands, which is always something teams look for in a running back. He also has the advantage of being in Peyton Manning's offense. I dont think he turned out to be as effective of a runner between the tackles as the colts envisioned selecting him in the first round, But, if he can emerge out of training camp and manage to fight off Donald Brown and Delone Carter i see him putting up solid stats. Being a RB in that offense almost promises a top 20 season for Addai if he stays healthy and I think he is being slightly undervalued right now because hes not flashy. If your looking for a guy thats Inexpensive and has the potential to be a solid RB2 the upcoming year, Addai would be a guy to take a look at.

The guy to get right now as a sneaky buy low. I realize Blount emerged last year, but, considering he was an undrafted pick up , I'm not sure they have a large amount of loyalty to keep him as a workhorse type of guy. Dont get me wrong either, I dont think Blount is Chopped liver. I fully expect him to take some of the load within the next few years.

Just from seeing what Bradford could do in college, It seems like to me he could potentially be an all purpose back at the next level. AT 5'11" 240 pounds, he seems to run faster than what would seem usual for the type of frame he has. Clocking a 4.59 40 is pretty solid for his playing style and it also seems like he may play a bit faster than that time tells. He was not asked to catch the ball at USC(15,00 other backs in the backfield), but , nothing I've seen from him tells me it isn't possible he could develop into a solid dump off guy. I'm not saying That hes going to emerge this year into a top 20 back, I just think Bradford has a shot to develop into a very solid NFL player and with given a good shot with the Bucs and that emerging offense, It could be a very solid combination for years to come. IMO a nice guy to monitor during training camp and have at the end of your bench just in case things fall his way. Who knows He could be one Blount injury and good preseason away from being the starting guy for TB this year.

19.Tim Hightower RB ARZ AGE:24

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HIG784208

Like thomas, The drafting of a running back early in the draft seems to kill all but any value Hightower had left. He can definitely find a spot on a NFL roster even if the Cardinals let him go, But , the chances hes ever fantasy relevant again seems slim to none.

20.Pierre Thomas RB NO AGE:26

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=THO085535

The drafting of Mark Ingram seems to just about seal Pierre's fate in New Orleans. He is a solid talent and if he lands somewhere nice he could be solid. Unfortunately, guys like this seem to be dime a dozen and most teams are not willing to pay much for them. HIs career seems to be going down a Back up RBBC type of route and I tend to stay away from guys that have limited future upside and limited redraft upside.

21.Ryan Grant RB GB AGE:28

http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GRA497823

I've never really been a big grant fan and now that there are two other RBs competing for carries in GB , The future looks even more dim. I love the situation still and if injuries hit the corps he could still have value for redraft, but, he still has no long term value with the Packers and most likely will be nothing more than a desperate bye week filler this year.

yea to be honest things got a little cloudy around that area of the wr rankings...I thought I heard somewhere Demaryius is gonna comeback half way through the year. If not, then I guess its pretty clear he would have to be behind simpson huh? :lmao:

Early Training Camp Stock Report

Guys on the move up:

Larry Fitzgerald-

Not that I thought he went anywhere a lot of people downgraded Fitz because of his situation. well, now he has Kolb. He is officially 3rd on my board for non PPR and second in PPR. I smell another 100 catch 1400 yard 10td season coming up. dont miss out by picking guys like Nicks,Roddy, Wayne and Wallace over Fitz. Remeber the Super bowl , Remeber who he was with warner. Just remeber ok?

Kenny Britt-

I ranked him low initially, after second thoughts I cant help but move him up when I update rankings next.

Chris Wells-

Hightower is gone and Wiz has come out and said Wells has the job all to himself. Pivotal year for Wells and early talk is that he looks in great shape so far in camp.

Ben Tate-

Slowly moving up the Depth chart already. Tate has the raw talent and is officially a must handcuff for Foster owners . If something screwy happens to Foster, Tate could be a big sleeper this year.I dont think hes moving up my list (already have him as the second best handcuff), but hes a guys who's not even being looked at right now and I think hes a guy you need to keep in mind.

Joseph Addai-

Resigned with the colts the other day. a multi year deal, for a solid amount of money. The fact that the Colts had not resigned him yet was the only thing holding me back from ranking him higher to begin with. Love him as a low end RB2 in non PPR leagues and a high end RB2 in PPR.

Roy Williams-

I really believe this is the type of opportunity that Williams has been looking for ever since Calvin Johnson was drafted to the Lions in 2007. Roy is clearly one of those guys that wants to be the man in the offense and quite frankly, he hasn't been for the past 3 years.I honestly think that has negatively affected his confidence and the way he plays the game. This is his first opportunity to be the best receiver on his team since 2006.With Cutler slinging the ball and Johnny Knox on the opposite side, I think if Roy gets his confidence up and puts in the work he could be a Low end to solid WR2 this year.

Julio Jones/ A J Green -

Well, We all knew they both had the talent to Emerge as Elite talents, But already? early reports from camp are saying these guys are Impressing just about everyone with there Immense abilities. I'm still not sure about how I feel about Rookie Wrs this year (or in any year for that matter) , But hey these guys Blew up the college football scene there true freshman years, so I guess nothing is out of the question for them. Julio is the Bigger Breakout candidate though considering what he has around him. Worth drafting as your Wr3 at this point due to the potential.

Chad Johnson(yes, Chad Johnson) -

Talk about a match made in heaven. I'm not exactly sure how much Chad has left in the tank , but I think hes worth taking a flyer on in the late rounds purely for the potential of the situation. The patriots needed a big play WR and they got exactly that for a bargain basement price. I think it would be smart to monitor This situation in training camp, because depending on how well Ocho adapts to the pats system he could be in for a big year. If all goes well I see Mr. Johnson getting over 1000 yards and somewhere between 5-7 tds.

Mike Sims-walker-

Theres no way you can know whats going to happen Right now with the Rams WR situation. But, my money is on SIms-Walker and Avery to emerge out of the traffic jam. Bradford is a stud in the making, the Rams know it, McDaniels knows it, my aunt knows it .... The Rams are going to air it out this year and the Biggest recipient of this is going to be the WRs that emerge. Hes worth a mid to late round flier, I dont think hes gonna put up great numbers this year but another quality guy to have just in case things go wrong with anyone else on your roster.

Darren McFadden-

UH OH! Guy showed up to camp lean and mean, Reports have been Glowing and I cant wait to see what this guy can do this year. Say what you will about him , Make fun of his chicken legs, But he has officially arrived folks, Put him in the tier with Rice McCoy Mendy and Jones Drew and dont even hesitate to take him over them if you like him. Get your popcorn ready

Lance Kendricks-

(biased rams fan and wisconsin fan Alert) I'm telling you guys , hes for real. Hes already running with the first team and they are working him in a lot of motion sets. I get more and more excited about the Rams offense everyday.. All Joking aside though, I do honestly think they have big plans for the guy . They drafted him in the second round over a lot of playmakers(Leshoure, Little, Cobb, Torrey Smith,Hankerson) and I know from watching Every wisconsin game he played in that he is a very skilled pass catcher and great blocker, so once he learns the system, he will be out there on all three downs. I'm not sure if its this year or not , but eventually hes going to be one of the main guys in that offense.

Felix Jones-

well Its a bit Ironic, But felix is the only Cowboy Rb who isn't injured right now. The recent release of Marion Barber seals the deal on Jones being the starter for this year. I'm big fan of this Cowboys offense as a whole this year and I dont see why Felix wont reap the benefits like anyone else. He has not been able to stay healthy but If he can stay upright, hes in for a big year. Theres going to be a lot of big running lanes in dallas this year and Mr.Jones is the right man to bust right through them

Greg Little-

Keep a keen eye out for Little. Guy is an absolute monster and I will keep saying this till he proves it on the field. at 6'3" 230 hes essentially an oversized running back playing receiver. It was reported that due to injuries , he is already taking snaps with the first team. This is great news for him because He was expected to be brought along a bit slower considering hes been out of football for almost two years and has only played one full season at Wr. yet he is with the first team already. Regardless of the reason hes with the first team, he is getting great experience and if he tries hard in practice and learns the playbook, he will take this opportunity and run with it, literally.

Guys on the move Down

Michael Crabtree-

LAME... Really MIchael? again ? The wait for Crabtree to show us what we all know he can do is going to be put on hold even longer. A recent report acknowledged that he is going to miss the next 4-6 weeks and potentially some of the regular season because of a foot injury. I still have faith that once he gets himself on the field consistently he will find his way, but its been the perfect storm of crappy so far in his short career. I guess we just have to wait and see how quickly he recovers. Its looking rather glum from a redraft perspective right now and isn't really worth gambling on. Do not put yourself in the position where you are counting on him as anything other than a bench spot.

Roddy White-

Well if the things im hearing about Julio Jones hold any water, Roddys potential targets are going down as we speak. I have never been the biggest fan of Roddy and while i do believe he is a very solid player, I think he is an elite fantasy player because he has been the only solid target for Matt Ryan to throw to thus far. With Julio in the mix this year I think the 179 target years like White had last year are long gone. I still expect him to be a WR1 this year, just on the lower end maybe even a high end WR2.

C J Spiller -

Well, It was upsetting to read the other day , but it was confirmed that Spiller is going to be staying on kickoffs this year. Its not the end of the world for his fantasy situation , but it definitely puts a damper on things. My hopes and dreams of him turning into a mini Chris Johnson are on hold and my nightmares of him turning into a mini Reggie Bush could be becoming a reality. But truthfully I think hes going to end up somewhere in the middle. I guess well have to see how the rest of training camp goes, But from the early outlook it seems Fred Jackson is getting a bigger bulk of the carries than I had anticipated.

Knowshon Moreno -

All I can picture is Ray Rice Dropping Willis McGahee off at Broncos Practice and as he (McGahee) steps out, Rice yells to Knowshon "have fun with this guy sucker!!! good luck getting over 6 TDs this year!! Muhahahaha" and then burning out in the parking lot. Ok, that probably didn't happen, just saying having McGahee there caps Moreno big time this year and pretty much goes along with everything Cecil Lammey has been saying for a while now. a guy im avoiding now without a doubt and in dynasty I would be selling if I had him.

Sydney Rice -

What a poor, poor man. Seattle? really? well to each his own, clearly money was the deciding factor here. It's to bad because I really like his talent, just dont see how hes going to get anything going this year with Tavaris Jackson and no Adrian Peterson.

Edit: a bunch of goofy spelling errors

Positional drop off is one of the most important things to be caught up on if you want to do well in your draft.

QB7(Vick, Rodgers, Manning, Brees Brady, Romo)-

I really believe its a mistake to wait any longer QB7. In some leagues this is the most consistent position and is usually the easiest to draft. Dont wait to long! This doesn't necessarily mean you have to daft a QB in the first few rounds either I've seen Romo, Brees and Rivers Drop to the 5th and 6th rounds in some drafts. If you can get Romo in the 5th or 6th round your getting great value and a potential top 5 guys, while filling out the rest of your roster in the process.

RB12- ( Peterson,Johnson, Charles, Foster, Rice, McCoy,McFadden,Mendenhall, Jones Drew,Jackson,Forte, Gore) -

You really wanna get one of these guys to feel comfortable with your situation as a whole. Unless your willing to gamble big time and grab a bunch of maybe Committee guys that you think might break out later, I suggest grabbing one, if not two of these elite runner. No time to wait on these guys, they will all be gone within the first 3 rounds. Big drop off after this from a non-risk standpoint. Everything is a risk in fantasy, but these are the ones that can be counted on 100% as long as they dont get injured.

WR8- (Andre, Calvin, Fitz,Roddy,Jennings, Nicks, Wayne, Wallace) after that I see a big drop off ...then another after WR21 (Harvin,Welker,Colston,Maclin)

Unfortunately The elite Wrs go just a quickly as the Rbs. Some last till the early third, feel very lucky if you can grap one of the top 8 in that spot. If you cant nab one of the elite because you were filling out the rest of your roster, thats alright, just be sure to get at least two of the next Thirteen, because after WR21 its a free fall to mediocrity. WR is a Volatile postion and it shifts a lot from year to year With guys coming from nowhere(last year Brandon LLoyd =WR1), but banking on all guys outside the top 21 just is not a solid plan. so unless your a pro scout or have the luck of the irish ... using that type of strategy with help you on your way to the toilet bowl. Personally for me this year I think Larry Fitzgerald is an absolute steal in the 2nd, get him if you can, I promise you will be happy.

TE5 - anyone after (Vernon, Gates, Clark, Jermichael, Witten) - you want one of those guys...

Tough Spot to be without one of the mentioned above. They start dropping around round 4,5 and 6 so be aware. Dont get caught in a position where your drafting right before a TE run starts this year. The elite tight ends are very important because quite frankly, there aren't a lot of them. The Points per game you lose without one of the top 5 is going to hurt, potentially 3-5 points per week, that adds up. One or two guys sneaks up into the top 5 out of nowhere every year , if your confident then be my guest. But for me, the risk of missing out on one of these top 5 guys is not worth it. One pick in the 4th, 5th, and 6th round wont kill you to save yourself a season of wondering who to pick up off the waiver wire at TE.

I dont think there is any sure fire way to draft because you dont know how it is going to be dictated (where or when the runs start and stop) ...so I think you just try to get as many of these guys as you can and call it a day . Just one guys opinion, its 3 in the morning, take it for what its worth lol

Good stuff.

I think you are way off on your analysis of Roy Williams, but enjoy reading this stuff. Thanks for posting it.

I like your rankings.Any defense or placekicker?
Wow, sorry for just getting back to you now. But, the way things usually go with Kickers and defenses is more luck based and fluctuates to much from year to year. If I ranked all thirty two defenses and kickers I dont think I would honestly think or know that it was the right order. I will say I like a few defenses in particular for this year. Jets- Love the system, love Rex Ryan, love Revis, New York is going to grind out a lot of games this year and I like them to be right where they have been for the past two years. Top 5.Steelers- Never, ever question the steelers D. The linebacker, plus there frizzy haired safety. Nothing comes easy against them. Patriots- Talk about depth. This is the quickest the Pats Defense has looked in a long time. very quick off the line so far and if they can get pressure. gonna be a good year.Packers- Clay Matthews,Charles Woodson, BJ Raji , Tramon Williams, Nick Collins , A.J Hawk. Sheesh, look out for these guys. Some teams that might surprise:ChiefsRamsRedskinsKickers I Like:Mason CrosbyAlex Henery Stephen GostkowskiJosh BrownNate Kaeding

Best Chance to Be NO.1 : Adrian Peterson Biggest Breakthrough to elite status: Darren Mcfadden Biggest Suprise: CJ Spiller Rookie of the year: Mark Ingram Tier 1 1.Adrian Peterson RB MIN AGE:26 http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=PET260705 2.Chris Johnson RB TENN AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JOH127799 Johnson has an amazing patience/speed combo that really cant be matched by anyone in the league. people considered him a bust last year but im not really sure that is warranted. his YPC took a big drop(5.6 to 4.3) but it seemed that had to do with the fact that the titans (other than britt for a few weeks) didn't really have much around him. 3.Arian Foster RB HOU AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=FOS107404 Tier 2 4.Jamaal Charles RB KC AGE:24 http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=CHA561428 I dont think there was any guy last year that did more with the touches they got. 5. Ray Rice RB BAL AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=RIC154451Ray Rice and Arian Foster go hand in hand to me. Dont avoid him , but dont overpay either 6.Darren McFadden RB OAK AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MCF084974 This guy is a MONSTER. 7.Maurice Jones Drew RB JAC AGE:26http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=DRE527472 8. Lesean Mccoy RB PHI AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MCC620232http://forums.footba...howtopic=550877 Tier 3 9.Rashard Mendenhall RB PITT AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MEN393702 10.Steven Jackson RB STL AGE:27http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JAC560875First things first, Steven jackson is an elite player and the team leader of the St Louis Rams. 11.Matt Forte RB CHI AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=FOR645404 12.Frank Gore RB SF AGE:27http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GOR411171 Tier 4 13.Deangelo Williams RB F/A AGE:28http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WIL221323 14.Ryan Mathews RB SD AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MAT190010 15.Michael Turner RB ATL AGE:29http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=TUR608668 16.Ahmad Bradshaw RB NYG:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BRA254359 Tier 5 17.Felix Jones RB DAL AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JON313929 18.Knowshon Moreno RB DEN AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MOR120768 19.Peyton Hillis RB CLE AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HIL734134 Tier 6 20.C.J. Spiller RB BUFF AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=SPI347627http://forums.footba...howtopic=592915 I think spiller is an elite talent. 21.Jonathan Stewart RB CAR AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=STE770966 22.Jahvid Best RB DET AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BES682260 23.LaGarrette Blount RB TB AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BLO626278 24.Shonn Greene RB NYJ AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GRE510029 25.Mark Ingram RB NO AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=ING656964 Tier 7 26.James Starks RB GB AGE:http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=STA583786 27.Chris Wells RB ARZ AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WEL350689 I will admit, I have liked Beanie's talent ever since college(potentially a little biased) and im not quite sure what about him and his style has kept him from being effective thus far. His career is looking dim right now for Arizona, but, I still hold out complete faith that if this guy 'gets it' he has top 10 dynasty Rb value. I first became enamored with him in his sophomore year at OSU. http://espn.go.com/n...ameId=280070194The dude went off on a very talented LSU defense as a true sophomore. The guy can be had right now (Darren Mcfadden style) for a more than reasonable price and if you are willing to wait a year or two (which most of us are not) hes a great guy to have as your RB3 or RB4. 28.Marshawn Lynch RB SEA AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=LYN442976 29.Cedric Benson RB CIN AGE:28http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BEN508718 Tier 8 30.Fred Jackson RB BUF AGE:30http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JAC173789 31.Joseph Addai IND AGE:28http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=ADD152616 I think that Addai has a solid shot to have some redraft value this upcoming season and would definitely be moving up my board depending on how training camp works out. 32.Roy Helu RB WAS AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HEL697773 33.Ryan Torain RB WAS AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=TOR105154 34.Donald Brown RB IND AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BRO398445 Tier 9 35.Montario Hardesty RB CLE AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HAR051743 36.Mikel Leshoure RB DET AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=LES202930 37.Ryan Williams RB ARZ AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WIL000004 38.Alex Green RB GB AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GRE037487 39.Daniel Thomas RB MIA AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=THO092066 Tier 10 40.Reggie Bush RB NO AGE:26http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=BUS294963 41.Shane Vereen RB NE AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=VER287449 42. 5.Kendall Hunter RB SF AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HUN719158Frank Gore 6.Delone Carter RB IND AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=CAR642622 Donald Brown/Joseph Addai 7.Bilal Powell RB NYJ AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=POW162772 Shonn Greene 8.Rashad Jennings RB JAC AGE:26http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JEN587965 Maurice Jones Drew 9.Jacquizz Rodgers RB ATL AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=ROD369979 Michael Turner 10.Demarco Murray RB DAL AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=MUR580353 Felix Jones/ Tashard Choice 11.Mike Tolbert RB SD AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=TOL160452 Ryan Mathews 12.Mike Goodson RB CAL AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GOO579925 Jonathan Stewart/ Deangelo Williams 13.Jalene Parmele RB BAL AGE:25http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=PAR593998 Ray Rice Tier 3 14.Jamie Harper RB AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HAR263558 Chris Johnson 15.Stevan Ridley RB NE AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=RID658759 Benjarvus Green-Eillis/Danny Woodhead/ Shane vareen 16.Taiwan Jones RB OAK AGE:22http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=JON731670 Darren Mcfadden 17.Johnny White RB BUF AGE:23http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WHI311455 CJ spiller/Fred Jackson 18.Jordan Todman RB SD AGE:21http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=TOD628353 Mike Tolbert/ Ryan Mathews Tier 4 19.Tim Hightower RB ARZ AGE:24http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=HIG784208 Like thomas, The drafting of a running back early in the draft seems to kill all but any value Hightower had left. He can definitely find a spot on a NFL roster even if the Cardinals let him go, But , the chances hes ever fantasy relevant again seems slim to none. 20.Pierre Thomas RB NO AGE:26http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=THO085535 The drafting of Mark Ingram seems to just about seal Pierre's fate in New Orleans. 21.Ryan Grant RB GB AGE:28http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=GRA497823 I've never really been a big grant fan and now that there are two other RBs competing for carries in GB , The future looks even more dim. I love the situation still and if injuries hit the corps he could still have value for redraft, but, he still has no long term value with the Packers and most likely will be nothing more than a desperate bye week filler this year.

yes, Spiller over Ingram and Best. LOL Alright guys, obviously its early but this is my first outlook on what the upcoming year is going to look like. It looks like a really, really questionable year for RBs as of now... a very wide range of possibilities.5/10/12Quarterback:http://fantasy-footballu.com/quarterback/Running Back:http://fantasy-footballu.com/running-back/Wide Receiver:http://fantasy-footballu.com/wide-receivers/Tight End:http://fantasy-footballu.com/tight-ends/

Arrelious Benn @ 40 and Sproles @ 21 seem crazy to me, for opposite reasons.
This is Benn's last shot for me. I've loved what he has done in limited action the past few years, but I'm about to the end of my rope. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt this year and I think he can produce good numbers as the Buc's #2 WR.Sproles was dominant fantasy wise last year, probably the most consistent RB out of everyone. He was 5th in my .5ppr league last year and while I dont see him doing that again, he earned my confidence of rolling with him as a solid RB2 this year.

Wow these rankings are... unique...
haha Mine are from 5/10/12 (aka Russell Clay) I asked my buddy to put up his also(5/14/12), he usually has a very unique opinion and hits on quite a few guys that most aren't thinking of. I talked to him about the whole Deangelo at #8 thing. Shocking to me at first, but I kinda get it. Then I heard a crazy stat a few days after talking about it. Deangelo is 3 carries away from 1000 carries, once he gets those 3 carries, he and Jim Brown will be the only players in NFL history to average over 5.0 YPC for their career's. thats a pretty insane stat if you think about it. I feel like we all forget how amazing Deangelo was for those two years, he is being held back by situation just as much as Stewart.I like it because he and Zimm have completely different opinions than each other, makes for interesting conversation and helps me a lot with deciding what I probably need to put more thought into.

Ummm...someone should tell Nik that that there is a fairly good chance that at least one of the two teams with a rookie QB starter (Washington and Indy) will actually have an RB who might put more than the Dallas backup...or the KC backup...etc.

I suppose, but I don't necessarily trust Helu or Brown Either. I like Brown as a sleeper, but I wouldn't be surprised if both those situations are complete messes this year (at least fantasy-wise)

No doubt - but SOMEBODY has to run the ball on those teams.

love seeing ppls perspective on rankings.

That said, I disagree with a lot of your tiers and rankings... but that's what makes FF great. to each their own.

Ehem ... cough, cough... Rizzler did you see who I have #1 for Rbs in redraft? LOL
Rice.I can get behind that. I'd still, obviously, take Foster 1st... But Rice is a solid choice.MJD, not for me. How dare you place him above Foster? Im appalled and reporting this to a mod.

No Doug Martin? He's top 15 for me.
I have him at 19. Love Schiano , cant trust that everything is better in Tampa before I see some results on the field. I do like Martin and his situation, but I dont know how they are going to use him and Blount yet, Blount could end up stealing a lot of goaline carries and Martin is a rookie.
