Wouldn't it make more sense now to use the most electric/dangerous players to return kickoffs, despite their other roles as a position player, considering the kicking team builds up less speed with the shorter head start? Not to mention that the star players will be tackled fewer times since more kickoffs will go deeper into the endzone...
Why put the better returner on the bench just because he'll only return two or three a game instead of three or four?
